CH Hanson 10146 1/2" Brass Letters & Numbers Set 92 pc

I ordered the brass stencils for my husband and they were exactly what he expected. He wanted them use with his wood burning kit, for his Ten Commandments wood burning project.

We use these to label cases of equipment in a warehouse. They are great for labeling the sides of cases that are the size of a brief-case or smaller. They slide into each other snugly, will last for many years, and include punctuation. The text size is pretty small (half an inch) and wouldn't work for us on large cases, but it is the perfect size for us for labeling the sides of smaller cases. For the price, I wish they would give you more multiples than they do, but we get by pretty well with what they gave us.

I love these little stencils for marking my ammo cans and making other replica military type wooden boxes. Received two sets of each letter and number except for Q. No issues there I guess. A bit pricy in my opinion which is why I gave it 4 stars but they should last a lifetime if taken care of.

I ordered the stencils just for the number stencils, but to get the numbers I had to order the entire box with letters especially for the 0.5" size. Once I opened the box, I immediately started separating the numbers from the letters. Found out that I was missing the # 8 stencil. So, I started going back multiple times sorting and could not find the #8. Understand these are massed produced and small, but some sort of QA should have happen to ensure at least one number and letter be included in the kit.

They seem to work well. Slide together and apart well. I clean after each use at end of day with a solvent/paint remover to keep buildup from accumulating. If you need a set of stencils buy from this American manufacture.
