PERFECT! I Love This Planter!
I got this "succulent planter" for a new plant I got a few days earlier. The new plant is called a "Kokedama", and it is a plant that is planted in a moss ball with specific dirt etc. These plants don't get buried in dirt like most "regular" plants. To water, all you do is put the moss ball in water for 5 minutes once a week, then put in a saucer/bowl <or whatever you want to>. I didn't want a deep dish, just something high enough to protect the ball and to catch any water should any drain out of the ball. This 6 inch planter is PERFECT! The 6 inch diameter is exactly the size I needed for this particular plant, and the 1 1/2 inch high wall gives my plant the perfect protection. I love how simple it is, minimalist. White goes with everything and the Bamboo tray adds just a bit of class. This planter is exactly as described! As an add on, I just want to say that I can't stand people who give products a minimal to negative review because of something that is NOT the products fault. READ EVERY PRODUCTS DESCRIPTION! You won't be disappointed when you don't get the plants that are in the photos <even tho they say plants not included!>, and PLEASE don't blame a container for your plants dying!!! That has to do with either the environment, under/over watering or YOU not knowing how to take care of the plants!I highly recommend this planter...for many things. From planting succulents <don't plant one dead center if you're worried about roots falling out...plant on outer circle, and plant SMALL plants.>, to holding jewelry <or anything>, and even a Hamster Litter Box!!! It's very well made, high quality, and I just love it!I've added a photo of my Kokedama plant, in this 6 inch planter.

Just beautiful and better than expected for the $$$
Forgive my messy van, BUT these were so perfect. I was going to order succulent arrangements as Mother's Day gifts but, as i needed three, I was looking at about $200 with delivery. I decided to make these instead and they turned out absolutely beautiful. I used two different packages of succulents to get a larger variety in color, size, and shape. I spent about $65 to make all three. Also, while I am a rather "crafty" or "artsy-fartsy" kind of gal, this was my first attempt at a floral arrangement of any sort and the ladies I gave them to thought they were real and from a professional florist. I HIGHLY recommend this product all the way around. Bowls are simple and elegant and go with any decor or arrangement. Super neutral.FYI - I placed a round of floral foam at the bottom so the succulents would stick and to prevent the gravel from pouring out the drainage hole on bottom.

Wish it was bigger for $
Why do pots for plants all have to be so expensive when you are buying them out of season. Using this to transport my plants into for winter. I was expecting to fit my larger plants in this but its about the size of a gallon ice cream pale, but only half as tall. Seems sturdy. Would buy again if my succulents didn't have gigantic roots.

Mold/Fungal Growth and Cracking
This pot worked great the first couple of months that I had it, but when I was transferring plants the other day I noticed that not only had a crack formed in the wooden drainage plate, but that a ring of some white/gray growth had formed as well. Why would a piece meant to keep water from leaking onto a table not be antimicrobial? I'm going to see if I can find something else to set underneath the pot itself which works fine.

A wee bit small
So me personally I use this little pot for propagating my succulent leaves since they don’t need to go in real deep into the soil so it’s amazing for that ! As for putting real succulents inside, the pot isn’t really deep enough for that unless you are harvesting some real baby succulents to which then since they are small they should fit but I wouldn’t use this for plants that need to be really deep Into soil!

Pinterest IRL
The succulent fad is one I'm 100% down with. I've already got one of those glass terrariums to chic up my living room, but the kitchen's still a suburban snoozefest, so I figured why not continue the trend? In an effort to keep things interesting, I went with a planter this time, and chose this particular one because of its clean, minimalist design. In person, it's just as charming as the photos! The "bowl" (for lack of a better word) is well-made, with a smooth glaze unmarred by those little bubbles that always seem to pop up in cheap pottery. While not especially thick, the ceramic feels sturdy. It fits perfectly onto the bamboo "plate" (once again, I need a better word), which is nicely sanded and includes a shallow lip to keep the bowl in place and prevent water from spilling out. Together the mix of materials makes for a contemporary look that's giving my kitchen table an understated Pinterest appeal. All I need now are some gauzy bedroom curtains and a vintage rotary phone, and I'll be Houzz-Ready!

Modern, clean planter
This little planter was just what I was looking for to plant my succulents in. It was well packaged and appears high quality. I was a bit surprised at how small it was, as you can see in the picture where I show my hand for scale. The bamboo saucer is a smart, functional look that ensures the drips from the plant don't mar your furniture. The look is very modern and clean and once I get the little cactus I want to add, this will look great on my coffee table. I added a layer of pea gravel to enhance drainage for my succulents. I do like the idea of using this to grow oat grass for my cats; may need to try that. I would have given this 5 stars if it had been larger, or at least available in a larger size.
