Finally... After three tries with other vendors , I was able to get this book delivered through this vendor, they came through for me and will look to purchase more books, only from them.Awesome book, I love the binding, and yes, the pages are thin but I like thin pages, it gives the book elegance.As far as the content, beautifully written as my swami and I go through the book reading, reciting, together.

I was looking for a good commentary on Gita with an advaitic view and found Swami Chinmayananda's commentary THE BEST! Each verse is explained in detail to make the reader understand the deeper meaning with clarity and enable one to experience the higher Self.

Very nice quality. Hardback with dust cover and book marker. I believe it's printed on onion paper, but not sure. I recommend no distractions when reading The Holy Geeta. It's not a light read.

Book content is good. Paper quality is garbage. Extremely thin paper, can see the print on the back of the page, making it hard to read.

Wonderful commentary on the Bhagavad Gita. In fact it is the best that I have read till now.iy

Complete with a ribboned book-mark Arjuna and Shri Krishna ride in their chariot, with printing errors, pages (page 572 pages 594 are missing), of the old Indian print tradition. A most fantastical account of the indescribable "Isness"of Life and Death, as human brain engineered reality. "This is obviously it" too.

I love Swami Chinmayananda. He was a wise man and authoritative in his commentary, but in a good way. Although traditional and devout he was by no means a man of small intelligence, I would rather think the opposite. I have several editions of the Gita as well as several commentaries. This is one of my favorites.

Great book. Very good treatise by a great sage.
