Works great
This was a simple and cheap way to repair an intermittent Aux port in my 2011 Rav4 (Base model). Easy to install and fit the factory connector on the backside. Sound quality is the same as stock, as you'd expect.

2009 Toyota Corolla LE
My last aux input completely gave out on my 2009 Toyota Corolla LE and I ordered this just to try it out cause the dealership quoted me $120 for a new one so I said forget that!! This came in and I replaced it and it works like a charm! Straight plug and play and the sound quality is amazing. You really can’t beat it for the price. Highly recommend.

Good for 3 months only
Easy to install and worked well for 3 months. Started to fail in the last couple weeks and now doesn’t work at all. This seems to be common with these adapters.

Finallly!!! I can listen to my books!
This is the second Aux. port that I've put in my 2010 RAV4. The original factory part didn't work the second one I bought didn't work but this one... YES! I could tell as soon as I took it out of the packaging that is was made better than the others. I will re-review if this one fails or doesn't stay put, but for now it's in there solid. One happy audio-book listener! Also very easy to install.

Will likely break over time
In my experience any of these replacement aux-ports WILL stop working after some months. I decided to purchase one after my OEM aux port (2009 Corolla) stopped detecting that a cable was plugged in to it.This replacement worked for about 2 or so months, and then had the same issue; no aux cable is detected, and you have to wiggle/bend/adjust the wire into a specific position to keep connectivity. At first I thought it was my aux cord, but I tried multiple cords, and tried those cords on other devices - they all worked except in the corolla.I have gone through about 2-3 replacements. I treat my AUX-port and cables very well, and have even tried never unplugging it, and barely touching the wire; but the same problem persists. I'm not sure if the issue is that of build quality or not, but regardless, the OEM seems to have the same issue after some time as well. The issue seems to come down to one of the connection plates inside the port no longer making proper connection; thus not sending a signal back through the chip, telling the car a cord is plugged in. The thing is, the port is actually still making connection as far as audio goes, just not the specific pin that tells the car something is plugged in, so you can't use it. If you do some searching online, you can find guides on how to bypass the connection check to trick the car into thinking something is always plugged in, letting you choose the AUX audio source. And since the audio connections are actually still working, sound will play as normal.

Fits like a glove.
You have to do a little bit of work for this one because it’s just the internals but it’s good because you get that factory fit. I bought another one from another brand and it came with the plastic housing and it fit very loosely. This one you don’t even have to worry about. Take the old housing apart, slide the new internals in, clip it all back together and it fits like it did from the factory. The sound isn't bad either. Maybe a slight bass boost but sounds totally good. Easily gave it 5 stars.
