I bought this for myself. I love mermaids. And the story card is beautiful

Hard to tell from the picture, but she is lovingly detailed and well made. Story card is a nice addition for gift giving.

This mermaid is so cute! The back has scales and hair also (the color is only on the front, though)! I was expecting just a flat silver back and was surprised to see the details on the back as well! I bought this for my daughter to give her an extra boost of confidence as a good luck charm and it seemed to work (she's 10). Unfortunately she lost it and was extremely upset so I am purchasing a replacement. It is small, I would estimate about an inch and a half. The tail and the hand meet to create a circle you could use to run a necklace, thread, safety pin, etc., through to secure it to something else so that it can be taken places.**Update- we received the new one and it seems that the blue on the tail isn't as bright as on the first one, so each one may be a little different. It's still cute and I would recommend

I purchased this sweet little The Magical Mermaid Wish Charm With Story Card to add to a gift bag for a friend that may very well be a mermaid! Personally, I have several of these types of little charms with story cards that I have purchased at Hallmark stores. I think they are sweet little additions to gift bags, personal collections, or decorations. This was the first time I had seen the Magical Mermaid Wish Charm. It popped up during a general "mermaid" search on amazon.com. When I saw it, I knew I needed to get it and add it to the very mermaid themed gift bag I had been working on. Along with a Mermaid Wine Bottle Stopper, and a set of personalized mermaid wine glasses, this is just perfect. A lovely gift for a lovely lady. It arrived in a little plastic Ziploc bag, exactly as described. I have to admit that a little mesh bag or something of that sort would have definitely added to the purchase. Fortunately, I had several on hand and placed it in a purple one to put in the gift bag. Overall, I am very pleased with this little Magical Mermaid Wish Charm with Story Card, and I am sure that my friend will be as well. It is simple and sweet and a lovely addition to any gift bag!

I ordered this and had it sent directly to my 6 yr old granddaughter for Christmas who loves all things to do with mermaids. Neither of us have seen it yet but her mother received it and said that it's very cute and that M with love it.
