Very good filament
I love this filament. In the past, I have had a lot of trouble getting PETG to print well. I saw this filament become available and decided to give it a try as Prusa is a well known company, and I didn't think they would put their name on this if it wasn't any good. It is a little on the pricey side as far as filament goes, with PETG normally being priced below $30.I received this filament in a nicely packed vacuum sealed reusable pouch. I actually said 'nice hiss' out loud when I opened this. I loaded the default profile from Prusa's website into cura, sliced a model, and surprisingly it printed the first time with some small defects. My first layer did not adhere to the second layer properly. I increased my bed temperature on my next print and this resolved the issue. Overall I am most pleased with the ease of use, the color and the packing (and the spool has hexagonal holes in a honey comb pattern, and we all know the hexagon is the best shape).Pros:* Color: Very nice translucent red with a spattering of sparkle.* Prints and feeds better than any other PETG filament I have used* Nicely vacuum sealed with reusable bag* Spool is nice and has a handy filament slot that doesn't waste filament like the standard holes do (it slots into a guide on the inside of the roll instead of needing to be bent around holes -- the process of bending around holes always damages a few inches of filament for me.)Cons:* Almost twice as expensive as entry level PETG* Some may want a more uniform red, this has sparkles and is translucent rather than being a solid flat color.* Not always in stock.* Like most PETG it requires higher tempsMy print information:Printed on Maker Select V2 (with upgrades)Printed Improved Flexi-rex and fossil fish at 75% scale.First Layer no fan, then 50%Bed: 92°CHot End: 250°CPrint Speed: 55 mm/s

It's Good Stuff
I've been waiting over a Year to try out Prusament PETG, if it wasn't good, I would say so. I've printed several different makes/brands trying to find quality filament. Hatchbox and Overture among my daily PETG filaments and Prusament certainly fits the bill, it printed flawlessly on my i3 MK3 with Prusament settings in Slic3er PE. The frog was printed in open air out in the living area, and the PSU case was printed in an enclosure to prevent warping. I don't think my photos are doing the color justice, the Carmine Red is gorgeous. For those of you who are interested in my tests I also noticed that the Prusament PETG has a slightly higher resistance to shattering from sudden impact as most PETG's do, by this I mean it shattered less ; )Bottom line IMO, Prusament Carmine Red, PETG Filament is good stuff. I cant afford to make it a regularly used filament at $37.88 a spool after Taxes, but I will definitely buy it again and save it for special uses.Edit 7/29/2020 you would be out of your mind to pay $69.95 current asking price for this fillament.

I personally love the color also prints well
Finally tried it last week. Printed well. I love the color. I just wish I could get a close to candy apple red filiment. Lime green would also be nice.

Amazing filament
The best filament I have ever used. When I first bought my printer I spent 6 months trying to figure out why it was not printing correctly. Adhesion was terrible and no matter what I did, nothing stuck to the glass. 6 months later I tried another filament and that was when I realized that the quality of the filament makes or breaks a 3D printer.Years and many different filaments later, I found this. It's the best I've used since I started. the quality of my prints are on another level than before.I would highly recommend this filament.

Bad Roll? Terrible Adhesion
I don't know if its me or the roll. I have a prusament PETG black and this PETG carmine red. PETG works great on my MK3 but this roll is terrible. I use the same Pusament PETG profile in Prusa Slicer but the red of rsome reason doesn't stick. Also, and I swear to you straight from wrapped up to the spool holder, I somehow had a tangle in the middle of the first print. But the color is great and the spool otherwise is nicely wound and well sealed in packaging

Prints like butter!
prints like butter! The only thing I don’t care for so much are the sparkles in the plastic. I’m not sure how to take advantage of that. But I’ll take sparkles everyday when the prints come out so well.

It's legit
It was manufactured almost a year ago but the bag seal was good, it's in an official box with the QR code on the label to check on the Prusa website all the manufacturing info about your spool. My first time printing PETG and after ironing out the bugs, I got some great results until my junk printer broke down.Edited to add that I wrote this review when I paid about $35 for a 1kg roll. Now I'd say it's definitely not worth double the price.

Good filiment
Great product, easy to print but I did not like the sparkle in the filiment. It reminds me of a bass boat finish with the sparkle in the filiment. I was expecting more red and less sparkle

malo
