REVLON Lipstick, ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick, High Impact Lip color with Moisturizing Creamy Formula, Infused with Vitamin E, 035 Backstage, 0.09 Oz

I have been wearing this lipstick in various shades for years. I'm sure I've reviewed it before but it bears repeating because if Revlon ever discontinues this line, I'm going to be SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED! The colors are amazing but the staying power is what really matters! Other long-wear lipsticks can be dry or flaky but that is NOT what this one is. It goes on smoothly and once it sets, it stays all day until I take it off at night with makeup remover or chapstick. My daughter was born unexpectedly early in 2009. I had to be intubated for a c-section. Hours later, back in my room, when the doctors came in to check on me, one of the female doctors commented "wow! you look great...lipstick on and everything!" I said no, that I hadn't touched up anything and she demanded to know what kind of lipstick I was wearing that lasted through surgery and childbirth! If that's not long-lasting, I don't know what is!! Thanks, Revlon! Don't change a single thing!!

My all time favorite lipstick. Apply in the morning and it’s perfect when I get ready for bed. Three meals. No clumping or fading. The only one I’ve found that really stays. Only this color seems to be that way. I’ve tried them all!

This is the only lipstick that stays on for hours and the color is my favorite, I have been wearing this lipstick for about 10 years but can no longer buy it in stores, only can order it online. The price has doubled but it is worth it.

Good find. Color as expected. Smooth application. Does not dry out my lips. Staying power about 3-4 hours.

I absolutely love this lipstick. I have not been able to find another lipstick like this one. Can't believe it has been discontinued and when you find it -- so expensive. Wish Revlon will re-consider.

I bought one a while back on clearance in a store and it wasn't what I was expecting so I nearly threw it out. I had gotten into liquid lipstick because of the staying power and I prefer a matte look. Unfortunately most end up drying out your lips, making them look very wrinkled, wearing off oddly, oxidizing and darkening when you put them on. Thankfully I still had my Revlon lipstick. It does go on sheer. That means you can control how intense or natural it looks. It can look like a flush of color and very subtle or you can layer it on. Your lips look a little shiny at first but it eventually dries matte and stays on a while. I threw out my liquid lipsticks and I'm now collecting these. The picture is of Finale. The original one I bought is Couture. They are very similar. I would say Finale is a touch more red and Couture is a touch more pink. I also tried Iconic and it is almost my natural lip color. Unfortunately it has a shimmer to it. If it was matte I would wear it alone but with the shimmer I can't get the 1980's out of my head so I will wear it under my dry formula matte lipstick to sheer out their color.

I've been using this same product for years, in two specific colors, and my last purchase was disappointing. It went on and dry and cakey. I used to be able to put it on and it would last for hours, even when drinking or using a straw. Not with this last one. I've tried the new versions of the Colorstay and they aren't the same. It would be great if Revlon had a comparison chart so you could find the right shades in the newer products because I have a feeling the traditional lipsticks are on their way out.

Tolle Lippenfarbe, hält lange, sehr ergiebig. Leider ist geht der Verschluß schnell ab und das Plastik rund um den Lippenstift hält wesentlich weniger lang als der Lippenstift. Der Stift geht oft von selbst auf in der Tasche.

great staying power. i found this color a little light for my skin tone, so i normally use it along with a darker shade and i get a perfect blend..

the Lipstick has cuts on top. its like someone opened the cover and touched/damaged the upper part of the lipstick. Poor quality
