Barbie Mattel The Diamond Castle Prince Ian Ken Doll

My daughter loves Barbie and the Diamond Castle. So I had to get this doll for her. As soon as she saw it when it came in she screamed "MOMMA ITS JEREMY!!" Prince Ian's brother. She loves it and it has handle her abuse. She is three. I highly recommend this doll for anyone who has a little girl who loves Barbie and the Diamond Castle.

Prince's pants came with a hole in the butt... weird. Laughed it off with my 4 year old.

She needed a prince for all her princesses. He's just what she needed.

Disappointed in this item. Purchased for my grandson who he and his sister play everything together. She plays cars n trucks he plays barbies with her so he asked for his own Ken dolls saw this one had a guitar and he got one for Christmas both blue. Disappointed when this came in and guitar is just a piece of cardboard. Needless to say will be getting help to return these things I am unhappy with. Spent way to much money to keep them.

Purchased for my grand daughter and she loved it!!

I bought this toy almost four years ago and within in a year the neck split across the base which caused the doll's head to become severed. She walked in the room with a sad face and cried out, "Mom, look at his head!" My daughter treats her dolls like gold, so, I know it wasn't due to her. She has over 50 dolls and they are all in tack and looks almost as neat and pretty as the day I bought them, but this one must have had a slight tear in the softer plastic area of the base that might have spread when she was moving his head (that's my theory). Mattel dolls are better quality, so even when children don't treat their dolls delicately I don't see their heads tearing off unless the child intentionally cuts or forcefully rips the head off.

I do not recommend this doll for children as it's very hard to dress/undress. The upper body is stiff with no articulation and the legs are rubbery, making a very lifeless plaything and a just plain hideous collectible. The guitar is a thin piece of cardboard and not at all intended to be used as an accessory to the doll; ironic, since the characters the doll is based on are both musicians. The jacket is glittery and is liable to flake- Plus, the texture is unpleasant. The pants are a faux satin material and it sticks really badly to the legs of the doll; the pants are also tight, contributing to the difficulty in dressing/undressing.Finally, the face. In my opinion, there is no likeness to the characters in the "... Diamond Castle" movie.
