A perfect gift for someone who loves green things!
I am so excited to be able to start growing my own greens! I will post again once I have some sprouting, but wanted to post an initial review for those who are thinking about buying. An important note: the cup/jar and straw are plastic. It looked like glass from the pictures, so that was a bit of a surprise. It is BPA free though, so I am still happy. The cup came with a good list of instructions about hot vs. cold liquids, and is not dishwasher safe. (In other words make sure to rinse it out right away, because we all know what fun dried green smoothie is to get off of cups.)The seed packets were a good size. I definitely can see growing a LOT of plants from these. Price wise this package worked out to about the same as what I would pay for a similar cup and non-gmo seeds at my local garden center. The back of the packets had good information about planting and harvesting, but you will have to look up on your own the best time to plant for your geographic location and climate. It was also really helpful that the seed packets had the year on them so I don't have to guess about how old my seeds are.Looking forward to fresh greens in about 48 days! :-)

Solid Product and Great Customer Service
Although I have yet to plant the seeds, I must say that I was very pleased with the Customer Service. I was excited when the package arrived, and I used the jar immediately to collect some basil from my garden. I had noticed that a single letter in the lettering on the jar had been scuffed, and I sent the sellers an email saying so. While the main purpose of my email was to thank them for the product and to express my admiration for their startup, I also included an image of my jar (and the basil I had put in it).I did not expect to receive a new jar, but the sellers insisted that I needed one. A week later, I received a new jar AND a whole new batch of seeds.I was both surprised and very pleased. Thanks Whole Health Gardening! Keep up the good work.

So far so good
Just in time for fall planting! I sowed the romaine, spinach, and kale this weekend for a late harvest, and hope to see them germinating in a week or so. Aside from the germination rate which I cannot attest to yet, the product is great. The cup was a nice addition, and I like that there are little tidbits of info on the veggies (such as how to use them in recipes) on the back. It makes the product feel a little more personal. I am happy to support a small scale operation. These ladies are doing a fine job. Looking forward to signing up for the class.

The Tomatoes grew great. I am still getting tomatoes
I received the seeds at the end of the growing season last year. I planted the green beans, did not come up. Planted the Basil, they came up but never grew to maturity. The Tomatoes grew great. I am still getting tomatoes. These were the yellow pear tomatoes. I have many other seeds to try next season.

Every seed planted sprouted right away- we were very happy with results! I hope not GMO- Also, the cup!!!! We LOVE THE CUP!! I thought that was as strange thing to send, but turns out- our daughter's favorite smoothie cup! Can't wait to order again.

On time. As described. Fun.
Delivered on time. The seeds packets are inside of a "bonus" plastic mason jar with lid and straw. It's a nice extra and adds some fun to the seeds. Haven't planted the seeds yet but I will do that soon!

These seeds ARE GMO. None of the seeds from these plants will germinate.
Bought these at beginning of year. Spinach grew great and went to seed. I planted literally all the seeds from the adult plants and not one of them germinated which is a major indicator of GMO. The photo shows what should have been an ungodly number of germinating seeds, considering what was planted. These seeds ARE definitely GMO and should be taken down from Amazon.

Well, I didn't pay close attention to the listing, so I didn't know the seeds came in a re-usable drink jar. BPA free, by the way. That was a nice bonus. I'm excited to sprout the seeds and get to growing.
