Excellent sauces can be conjured up unsing this Hoisin sauce
I mix this with seseme oil and chinese dumpling sauce to make a sauce all who have tasted it...rave about...git some.

Ingredients have changed?
I ordered this because my wife is allergic to caramel coloring and some people who bought it said it didn't contain caramel coloring. But it does.Update:I ran out of Kikoman so I tasted this stuff finally. Doesn't taste anything like Kikoman. I looked at the label. It has nearly TWICE THE SALT compared to Kikoman.

As a kosher consumer, you have no idea how pleased I am to have this essential ingredient for making Peking Duck. I have ordered this more than once, as the most authentic kosher equivalent.

Beware of Misleading Ingredients Listed in the Questions and Answers
The ingredients listed by Karl in 2018 on the product page are very different ingredients than what I received. I ordered this and paid more because I believed that it would have the great ingredients he listed. What I received lists nothing organic, contains caramel color, sodium benzoate, modified corn starch and wheat. I'd send it back, but it is not refundable, so I'm throwing it away.
