It's cheap & it works
The media could not be loaded. I was told by my neighbor that a new LED pool light was $300+..I chuckled, found this, installed it, & now my neighbor refuses to talk to me. Haters gonna hate. It's bright, it's easy to install, & I've ran it hard these last couple months & she's still going with absolutely no issues. One thing that may help is all the colors it displays because the instructions use different combinations of R+G+B to tell you the color of the light, not the color it turns your pool, so they are; Red, Green, Light Green, Blue, Purple, Light Blue, & Teal. The instructions are not in the best English ever but you should be able to decipher them..if you're actually one of the people who DO actually read the instructions. Also, the remote..it works just fine. You just have to be fairly close to the light..radio waves don't travel though water very well hence why submarines use SONAR instead of RADAR. The video is the proof, you will like what this does to your pool 👍

great product
My pool light stopped working. I purchased a 12VAC transformer, fabricated a hanger and put it in the pool, looks good as new. Light is very bright and this is the second one Ive owned having broken the first I immediately ordered another one.

FANTASTIC LIGHT!! I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this light to replace the piece of garbage Hayward ColorLogic light that was there. I attached this light's mount bracket to the plastic frame of the Hayward very easily. I them mounted the frame assembly in the original opening then attached the new light to that. I couldn't be happier HOWEVER, as others have said, the remote does NOT work very well at all but it's a small price to pay considering what you get for the money. I highly recommend it!!***UPDATE*** I've had the light for 3 weeks now and it's fantastic HOWEVER the remote SUCKS!!! The on/off button stopped working. All other buttons work just fine and despite this, I still HIGHLY recommend this light :-)

Can’t beat it for the price.
I had two Hayward lights that were roughly $1,100 a piece. I constantly saw negative reviews about the life span of them and really didn’t want to drop that money.I came across these and took a shot. I will say only one of the two lights I purchased came with instructions or screws to mount. I bought them separately so there was no reason both shouldn’t have included them.I took off the old lights and bought some 1/8” acrylic sheets to make a new piece to attach to my niche. Then mounted this lights bracket to it with nylon locking nuts and bolts. I spliced in these wires to the existing ones and soldered them together following by heat shrink and some liquid e-tape.The lights worked perfectly and look incredible! Would buy and replace this every year for 12 years and still be right side up on one Hayward light. What a deal. The only negative, which others have written, is the remote. When it’s out of water, you can control them from 50+ feet away without the antenna out. When IN the water… and against the pool wall… I have to legitimately put the tip of the antenna in the water at the light to control them. A bit annoying, but I can also use the breaker to turn it on and off.My solve here is to put an outdoor Wi-Fi switch in line and then can toggle from my phone on and off which cycles through the colors. Definitely would prefer the remote to work so you could just click to turn to the color you want. But for 75 bucks this is WELL worth the minor inconvenience in my opinion!

My boyfriend brought them for the pool almost two years ago. They still works as new, were easy to install, the lights setting are great. Great for night pool parties

Lasted 2 years
Light was decent brightness and lasted just about 2 years then got dull and only red works.

Remote control is worthless.
Horrible instructions. Also, the remote uses a uncommon battery with no listing anywhere of what size it is. I had to look through a bunch of your tube videos until I finally found someone who said it is a 21/23 battery. Then I wasted money on the batteries because the remote control worked once and died. You can still operate the light by turning the power source on and off though. Happy overall on the function and brightness.

Pool Light Eapmic
We installed the light about a month later after receipt of the order because of the construction process of the pool. I wanted to be positive after reading some reviews, but the light just didn't worked, it stays in green mode light and very weak, the remote does not send any signal to the light. The light was installed by a certified electrician, I am very disappointed since the pool is already filled up. I don't even think I can get a replacement since time has passed.
