tested 2 of these units with rock/pop style music on both Sony & OneOdio high-fidelity headphones and the entire bass range was flat, even after boosting it with EQ - this is likely part of a strategy to conserve battery life, unfortunately at the expense of bass output - sound was clear so they work well as transmitters, or as receivers for high end equipment with an EQ that can compensate for weak bass, but not great for use with headphones unless you only plan to listen to vocals

ITEM FAILED AFTER 30 DAYS. WILL NOT HOOK UP TO HEADPHONES. DOES NOT LIGHT UP BLUE ONLY RED. DOES NOT HOLD CHARGE. UNIT COMPLETELY WORTHLESS. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY ANOTHER MODEL.UNTIL THEY GIVE THIS A SPECIFIC WAT TO ACTIVATE BLUETOOTH CONNECT MODE - DO NOT PURCHASE.IT WORKED FOR LESS THAT 30 DAYS - JUST LONG ENOUGH THAT I CANNOT RETURN IT.

Definitely effective over a shorter distance than previous transmitters. Un-pairs itself most nights so I get to re-pair each morning.

I could not get this product to connect to our phones at all (an iPhone and a Samsung), returned it!

This works well for price but price is why it is made of a thin plastic. Very fragile and even with 20/20 vision can't read directions without magnifier

Worked for 1 hour, not recomended.

Simple design yet it works extremely well
