These are good add on, very similar to the original yet only a tad noticeable they are not. They are a third cheaper than the name brand, but I prefer not to pay for that. They charge the same way or can be done via usb which is the biggest difference I can tell. The colors and feel are the same. They respond fast and seem to be quality enough. My only issue is long term use and how the battery will hold for which I wish there was a warranty period. Otherwise I like the cheaper alternative as it plays well and saved me money

Okay I bought these because the joy con on my switch broke and I do not wanna take it apart and replace The part or wish to ruin it cause I would when I attached them to my switch the battery was almost dead on the controllers it doesn't last long i am already charging them after one day use and 30 minute play time it says lasts among time nope if you wanna buy them do it but I will be looking for another's just in case the value for the money I paid is okay I just do not like the fact you gotta charge them they are not like the ones that came with my switch that charge when they are connected to it you know what I mean they charge with the switch itself if ya wanna buy them do it but I will not be buying more of these and you can not charge them when contacted to the switch while the switch is charging the controllers won't charge so you gotta stop playing and charge the dang things update I got replacements and the right side won't stay connected to my switch every time I wanna play I have to pair the dang thing over and over again I am sick of this big waste of money I will never buy these kind again I will stick to Nintendo brand only

Now, when I say I can't play it portably, I mean that when they are attached to the sides of the switch and you open up a game, they begin to strongly vibrate in sync with the music. At first, it was charming. Then it became old, really fast when it wouldn't stop and holding it was just very annoying overall. I went into the system settings of my switch and turned off the vibrate function BUT THAT DIDN'T STOP IT! IT WONT STOP VIBRATING AND ITS A SMALL THING THAT IS NOW KILLING ME.Wireless connection works great and won't vibrate as long as they aren't attatched to the switch. charged and held charge well.

One of the only things keeping me sane during this insane time. They work so much better than I imagined they would, and they are a bargain compared to the name brand. My fingers are crossed that they will continue to perform this well in the long run.Also, the small differences in design are scarcely noticeable once you start playing.

I thought I would save some money getting these off brand joy-cons and they work okay for the most part but there are some games that they do not work with. For example the RingFit so I ended up buying official Nintendo joy-cons. While this product is okay I suggest getting the ones form Nintendo.

You can not put these on a regular controller charging box. It has a micro usb plug in on each one to charge separately.

Remotes were slow to respond, often requiring multiple pushes of buttons. They paired fine - but aren't great for games requiring a fast reaction time.I hope my set was defective and not a representation of the product as a whole. It was nice to find a company offering an alternative at a decent price

We like these better than the original that came with Switch. They fit perfect, better grip. We can’t insert them into the handheld controller that looks like a black bulky controller like the N64, but my son plays fine without it.

They're pretty nice joycons, buttons feel real nice, and I actually like how the sticks on these feel more than real joycons. My only real complaint is that because they're shaped to fit nicely in your hand, they don't fit in the controller grip.EDIT: after using them a bit more, the gyro is really, REALLY bad. it feels like it was just slapped in there just so they could say they have it. it works relatively decently for aiming in BotW, but the motion puzzles completely breakdown, and spin around wildly with a gentle tilt.The vibration is similar, feels like a cheap spinning motor. but thats pretty minor compared to the gyro.EDIT EDIT: the y button has begun to wear out after just a single playthrough of Celeste (which is pretty short, only a couple hours tops). probably wouldn't buy these again.

Will not hold a charge, not only that it won’t attach to the switch to play without a TV. I get maybe 10 minutes of play, then they need to be charged again and resins them once there charged..... round and round we go. Very very very sad should’ve just bought the regular ones.....a waste of money.

I like the overall shape of these joy-cons vs the original ones that come with the switch. Well worth it. Will definitely buy again if needed.

Hey I just received my joypad Nintendo switch remote. And they are not working when I slide it in the Nintendo switch, it not seeing the right remote. I tried my old remote to make sure, its not my Nintendo switch is causing the problem! And it work fine. The new remote work when the remote are not connected to the switch but I soon as slide them in one of the remote is NOT working the right side. I wanted these for a upgrade and more comfortable. Plz I would like a exchange for new one. Plz and thank you have a nice day

I find these controllers pretty good. I bought them so we could play games with my little ones and figured they might be rough on them, so cheaper is better. So far no real flaws have shown up. The one thing that really bums me out is that they are a different shape than the name brand joy cons, so they dont fit into any "adapters"
