OMG
Accomplished absolutely nothing except reading this book. Loved the characters, animal humor, and suspense. Had to see how it would end.

Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat!
I came across ‘Hidden’ when I was browsing through Amazon. I’ve been reading a lot of Contemporary Romance novels, and although I really enjoy those I was looking for something a little bit different but not to different. So when I saw a review of ‘Hidden’ and read that this book was a Romance but also a Suspense novel it sounded perfect and I bought it as fast as I could. In ‘Hidden’ we meet Pippa. Pippa has been hiding for years, living her life from inside her home. But even though going outside scares her more than anything, slowly on Pippa begins to crave being able to really live. When Pippa sees a handsome but dangerous looking man move in next to her the desire to go outside becomes even more real.Malcolm has been living a lie for years. All he wants to do now is get away and be left alone. But when he sees the beautiful girl living next door, hiding behind closed door he is immediately intrigued. Soon Pippa and Malcolm can’t seem to stay away from each other but both have a lot of lies surrounding them.I read so many great things about Rebecca Zanetti’s books that I was afraid that my expectations for this book would be to high. And after reading the first view pages I honestly didn’t know if this book would live up to those expectations. Pippa and Malcolm seemed to jump into a relationship with each other which I didn’t really understand. But there was something about this book that made me want to keep on reading. And thankfully I began to enjoy this book more and more.Although I didn’t get the romance part right from the beginning, I did began to love these characters and soon I loved Pippa and Malcolm’s story. Their relationship was fun to read about, but the suspense in this book was even better. It kept me sitting on the edge of my seat wanting to read more and more. There was a lot happening and I couldn’t read fast enough. A lot of things that happened throughout this book kept me guessing until the very end. I loved that.Rebecca Zanetti definitely created a lot of fun characters. The way she was able to create and write about this ‘bad’ character was amazing. I truly hated some of these characters. There were also a lot of other characters in this book I loved getting to know. Malcolm’s new colleagues for example, they would definitely make for a view great new books.‘Hidden’ was really a great suspenseful read. The romance still wasn’t totally my kind of thing, but this was definitely a great read and I hope to read more books by this author.

Loved it!
So where do I begin. I read a review on Goodreads that lead me to this book, because I had never read this author but I do love romantic suspense. The review was great so I downloaded and read.Wow...humor, suspense, romance, creepy cult leader, things blowing up, kittens....yep, kittens.... who could ask for anything more? This book had it all and I think I have found a new author to add to my rotation. This book is the start of the Deep Ops series and we are introduced to the Wolfe, the Kitten carrying former Seal that is now slightly off after his last Op. Force, the FBI's best profiler but who is now broken after his last case and an alcoholic and his alcoholic/high heel wearing dog Roscoe (yep...I said that). Malcolm, the loner that has never had a family and was undercover for the last two years, and the op did not go as planned and he is broken. Brigid, the excon hacker, that did the right thing but had to pay the price, and Raider, the Special Agent in Charge of watching Brigid. Lastly, Nari the shrink that has to make sure that all these folks don't get into trouble or fall apart. We have yet to find out what she did to get here. This is a rag tag team of broken, messed up folks but damn if you don't just don't fall in love with all of them. Personally, my heart is with Wolfe....he stole it with Latte's and kittens.Mal and Pippa both have to work through a great deal of lies, they both know each other are lying to each other, but somehow through the lies they learn to trust each other. I normally have problems with lying but here I managed to get through it. I understood it and I still managed to see them building a connection through the omissions. The story to me was something that I think was plausible and for me that is important. I don't care if it is OTT...just make it something believable. I got that here. Isaac was a twisted villain and believable. I think the author put some thought and research into Isaac and his manipulative character. So, overall....Win, Win, Win. I truly loved the book and can't wait for the next one. Do I recommend? HECK YEAH!!!! Pick it up today! Don't wait!

Thrilling Page-Turner
What can I say about a thriller where supporting characters include a high-heel wearing, alcoholic dog and a cat that lives in a pocket? The hero puts it well when he says they’re a band of mismatched toys. Actually, I think the occupants of the Island of Misfit Toys have landed near Washington DC and we should all be happier for it. Crisp dialog, laugh-out-loud moments, an intriguing mystery, characters that resonate. This was a great read that kept me turning pages well into the night.

Hidden
Enjoyed this novel! Especially loved this team of broken, quirky and loyal band of misfits who’ve come together to fight for their sanity and justice. I found this book very intense and the subject matter of cults scary but interesting. Looking forward to reading more about this group!

Enjoyed it
Pippa barely leaves her house, choosing to remain indoors where it's safe. When her elderly neighbour moves away and a large, attractive man moves in, she can't help but be fascinated by him. Recovering from a gunshot wound, ex-cop Malcolm is looking for a quiet life. Except, he's intrigued by the seemingly agoraphobic woman next door, and now it appears that he's been carefully herded into position. Now he's being offered a job he never wanted, but it's one that could potentially help his beautiful new neighbour. This was a great book. I loved the beginning when Pippa sees Malcolm for the first time, and I enjoyed meeting the team. The team are a bunch of barely functional misfits, and they're all really interesting characters. I adored the dog, Roscoe, with all his issues. He did add a lot of humour, although we get some of that from Wolfe, too. There's plenty of story in the background, too, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Lots of action and a hot romance
Both leads are endearing and a little broken but the right person makes a difference and the right people make a family. Fast paced, good plot and great characters as the good guys fight the bad for a better world.

Good but needed better editing
I enjoyed the story; it got slow at times but then picked up. Characters were misused at times (poor editing) talking and wrong last names at times. I knew what the author was relating to but seems like it was quickly written for production not quality.
