Culinair AP201W Hot Air Popcorn Maker, White

I wondered if these had been turned to junk over the years, but this one was pretty decent quality for the price.

The first time I turned it on, something immediately popped inside the body of the machine and smoke started pouring out. Didn't even get one kernel out of it. I'm returning.

I had this for about a year of occasional use, and then it just stopped working. I also did not like how when it popped the kernels it pushed up unpopped kernels far more than my current Cuisinart I bought to replace it.

Was looking for something to pop corn that did not require alot of ingredients that tend to make popcorn not on the healthy side. This popper fits the bill. So far so good.

this was for my grand daughter.she told me that was what she wanted for her birthday so that was what she got.

I just got this today and tried it out immediately. In the first round, only half of the kernels popped. Instead, the machine just shot out unpopped kernels before anything started popping. When the first round was done, I took out all the kernels and decided to see how much of the one scoop of kernels I put in still remained unpopped. At least half the scoop hadn't popped! Aside from not popping the popcorn, what the machine DID pop, it sent flying out all over the kitchen. Not quite the time saver or the added cleanliness I was looking for...

Did not last. Very loud, and takes a long time to pop. Started smoking while making a batch of popcorn, just tossed it. Don't waste you money.
