Best Salsa Ever. Period

Best serrano salsa around. Excellent and unique flavor, uniform consistency, mild heat, difficult to stop eating it. Hope they make a habanero version.Edit: they have a habanero version and it's the best salsa on the planet

Papalotes salsas are very unique tasting and different, with a pretty good HOT kick (I find most other salsas too mild, so like the extra heat), and cling well to chips. However, with wide distribution to major stores like Safeway or Whole Foods, they are NOT some small batch, Artisanal product you might expect to command such a high price, especially cooked, jar salsa. For a lot less money, you can buy a tub of fresh, equally good salsa, or a large jug of any other Mainstream salsa like Herdez. It's too bad, I do like it, but can't justify the high price except on an occasional basis. Papalotes is good, but to me, not $10 a JAR good!

Not a lot of flavor

$41.25 for a jar of salsa? What a joke.

This is the best Salsa ever. Rich, authentic, complex flavor. I’ve eaten at the restaurant where this salsa is hand made in small batches. They serve it with meals and am happy to report that this jarred version is nearly as good as the fresh. Do yourself a delicious favor and try this salsa!! It’s worth every penny!
