Sturdy, and provides security for the phone, as it will not slip off your belt (has hook-type clip). Will definitely buy another when this one wears out.

I've had this holster about a week and so far it is great. Seems to be well made. The magnet in the flap seems strong and the flap closes tight. My iPhone has a Candyshack case and it fits snugly but comes out easily. I read some reviews that the belt clip is a weak point. So far, mine has been fine -- although it looks like it may not fully close, it seem to work well. I like the design and hope it lasts.

Cheap material. After just 6 weeks of use in an office environment, the black material is worn through along the edges, revealing the white under layer. Does not appear to be leather unless it is a nylon reinforced layer of paper thin leather. I cut the cover to see underneath. Not 100% leather. Nice rotating clip and magnetic clasp but otherwise, wears like a $5 case

After taking it out of the box, I was impressed by the strong magnetic clasp and the swivel clip (which was a main reason for selecting this style of Monsoon holster). The clip seems sturdily constructed, and though it is not super loose, it swivels on its own. I have the slimmest Otter Box case on my iPhone 5s, and the Holster fit my phone just fine. My husband has an iPhone 6, with the same slim case, and his phone fits quite well. BUT, that said, after approximately 40 days of sporadic, normal use, my holster began to look as if I'd had it for years (I'm comparing it to a $12.00 leather Blackberry Holster which I used for a couple of years, and it still looks pristine). In all honesty I cannot be certain about this, but I highly doubt the material used to make this case is leather at all. You could pull the questionable material away from the holster's body If you were to simply pick at it or scrape it with your fingernails! A scrape alone leaves a permanent mark! It is thin and resembles the flimsiest of vinyl. The inexpensive cases (5.00-7.00) I bought for my husband and I are of the same material, but they had held up better!! Underneath the many patches of material that have fallen off my holster, there's a white nylon material showing through. I'm going to have to use a Sharpie to cover the white patches. And, NO, I am not hard on my phone holsters. They receive normal use, and not even daily use. So, here's another rub, I had bought this same holster for my husband, for Christmas. I did this, of course, before I noticed how shabbily my holster is constructed. It is too late for either my husband, or me to return these OVERLY PRICED BY A MILE holsters. BTW, My husband's holster gets daily wear (he's a teacher), and his Monsoon holster looks like it's been worn daily for a decade. Again, if the material on these Monsoon holsters is leather, it is the thinnest leather covering known to man. "Monsoon?" These holsters won't hold up through a sprinkle. Once I find suitable holsters, from a different company, we will keep these Monsoons as back-ups ... and as reminders to keep in mind return policies and to follow my instincts when I suspect I've been taken advantage of, I very likely have been. In part I blame myself. I know what decent--$35.00 dollars worth--leather should look and feel like. I will not even put these holsters in my Goodwill donation box.

A lot of the reviews claimed that the iPhone 5 with otter box commuter case fit good.my iPhone 5 with commuter case fits so tight that it is scuffing the rubber of the edge of the commuter case when it is inserted and removed.but I guess that what you get when you by sight unseen.
