Since moved from baltimore in 1979 and now live in Idaho, ordered these out of fond memories of the after school snacks we would have growing up with Tastykakes. They seem now smaller with less filling and the ones I rec'd were slightly stale unfortuneatly.

Unbelievable!I purchased the following 4-pack, consisting of 2 boxes of Butterscotch Krimpets and 2 boxes of Jelly Krimpets. These were a Christmas gift for my husband.Unfortunately, at least 2 of the boxes are past their expiration date, and likely all 4 are.The stamp on the side of each Butterscotch box says "DEC 19". If the number is the year, then they are over a year past expiration. If the number refers to the day of the month of this December, they are still past their expiration.On the two jelly boxes, they are stamped "DEC 21". If the number refers to the year, then they are presumably good for another year. But I assume that none of your items have a shelf life of over a year, so that would mean these, too, are past their expiration dates. (Please see attached pictures of each box below)I wrote to them and they said that the cakes have a shelf life of 10-14 days. By the date I got them it was only 8-10 days. Customer service was rude and uncooperative.

I grew up on tastycake sweets loved them then and still do.

These were delicious, just like I remember as a kid.
