This is honestly one of the best solutions I've ever found to my dog being timid ...
This is honestly one of the best solutions I've ever found to my dog being timid and barking at people. She is a chihuahua so most people would think her barking was cute and not a warning sign and would not listen to me when I asked them to not pet her (people would run up and pet her before I had a chance to say anything a lot of the time). Having a leash that so clearly states that she is nervous has given many people pause before running up to her and grabbing her (thereby making it worse). Also having it be only 4ft really allows her to have just enough room to get about and still be close enough to me where we both feel safe. The padding is a little weird to get used to if you haven't had a padded leash before but its truly wonderful once you get used to it.

This has kept kids safe!
My dog is a difficult lady. Her anxiety makes her almost unpredictable. She’s small so kids love to try and approach her but she WILL bite them. I had to buy this to keep myself accountable and to keep kiddos safe. I wish there were more lengths offered but I understand the short length being appropriate.

Great leash but I wish more people would actually pay ...
Great leash but I wish more people would actually pay attention to what the leash says. Most seem not to notice, but there are a few people who have now asked if it was ok to pet my dog. That's an improvement but others need to be educated as to what a nervous dog is. Maybe we should have gotten him the "Dangerous" leash instead, so people and particularly children would not be as eager to approach him. He isn't a dangerous dog, but he would rather be the one to do the approaching to strangers.

Not a good leash for my dog
This leash doesn’t work for my dog. I have a very leash reactive dog and she needs something really durable. I ordered the 4 foot leash. It was definitely too short (which is my fault). If you have a dog that is a chewer, this isn’t the leash for you. My dog chewed through it in less than a minute.

Avoid awkward encounters. :)
Love this leash, as it lets people know to give my small but very nervous-around-new-humans rescue dog some space when we are out and about. So many people used to ask if they could say hello to her and I hated awkwardly explaining that she is still learning that the world is not full of threats she must vanquish. This leash buys us some space to practice while we layer that lesson down. :)

Good purchase
It's great quality, made well, works like a dream. It's so super helpful. I find it adds to the alert factor as it should which is what I needed. Glad I purchased.

Still not enough
It works great — strong leash, has held up for years. That said (and I blame humans more than the leash maker), no one seems to notice the NERVOUS text. People still come up to me and say "What a cute dog! Can I pet him?" Uh, no. No, sir. No, you can not.

Would recommend to anyone with a nervous dog!
I have a large nervous dog that doesn't do well when approached by people, especially kids! Having this leash has helped so much, as it tends to deter people from approaching, and if they do, it's cautiously and slowly. It's made well and has helped up very well since I purchased it!

I wish I had bought this a long time ago!
Good strong lead , I bought the harness to match and I'm pleased. I had originally bought the set saying no dogs but it didn't work as my dog is so frightened of other dogs he goes mad barking. It's not his fault, he's been attacked by dogs off leads on 3 occasions while he himself was on a lead. People just thought he was aggressive being a jack russell ( that in itself annoys me) and I seemed to be forever explaining which drove me to only go out avoiding other dogs. I changed tactics as nervous explains it all! Nobody has said anything people do stare but obviously it must stand out. I wish I bought this instead of no dogs in the first place. Life is abit easier now and we are both getting abit more confident out and about.

Great lead, bright easy to read
I got this lead for my big bear who happens to be a 43kg German Shepherd.. now GSD have a bad reputation anyway and happen to be very vocal (it’s why they make great guard dogs!)He doesn’t like dogs or people coming from behind and will have a bark... especially joggers who have in the past pushed him to the side (brave..!) now my lad is getting old and his hips aren’t the best so I got the ‘nervous’ as he needed a new lead (his puppy sister pinched his)I have to say some people give us a massive wide berth, some people ask why he has the lead (I explain he’s getting old, he’s a bit loud and a bit grumpy but friendly otherwise) and others couldn’t care less.. and just let there dogs come bounding up even though mine is on the lead..I would however highly recommend, it’s bright, easy to read, strong and I’ll be getting a ‘FRIENDLY’ one for the puppy.

Good quality lead
Decent quality lead. I've had good feedback from other dog walkers about how easy it is to read from a distance. I'm using it for my rescue chihuahua. I was worried that the metal clips might be too heavy for him however I use it with a harness and he seems very happy with it.

Very bright, easy to read wording and comfortable
These leads are a fantastic idea. It allows people to know well in advance what kind of temperament your dog has and to act accordingly. It would have been 5 stars, however, even though I haven't measured it exactly, the entire lead is 60cm, including the large handle, so the actual lead length is pretty short. As I have a greyhound, it's fine for keeping him by my side for training. As the lead itself is excellent quality, comfortable to hold and really very bright with very clear and easy to read writing (which is printed on both sides of the lead), I have ordered a 120cm one too, which is still shorter than a standard lead but long enough to give my dog room to sniff around.

Strong sturdy and comfortable lead to use
I purchased the 1.8m lead which is a good length and it’s a nice strong, sturdy lead. The only issue I had was that one of the words read “Vervous” rather than “Nervous”. But it was close to the handle, so not that noticeable. I also bought the “No Dogs” lead which is not as effective as the yellow “Nervous” lead. It may be that the orange one matched my dogs collar and harness too well to stand out and was not as noticeable. Most other dog walkers seem to be more understanding that my dog is reactive when using this lead and adjust their behaviour accordingly.
