Awesome dried Calabrian chilis! I bought these so that I can make my own chili oil with EVOO as a condiment for my homemade pizzas and pastas rather than having to buy the jarred ones at the store that always contain a ridiculous amount of salt and sunflower and other oils but olive. Much cleaner and tastes so much better to do it yourself!

Oh yeah! Bring the heat! Crushed them up for my own crushed red pepper flakes. High scoville units! Flavorful too!

More complex than a red pepper flake, and not as hot as jalapeño, especially if you remove the seeds. There’s an umami quality to these Smokey, sweet flavor bombs that you will not find anywhere else. A must have that we have become addicted to. One or two of these dried peppers infuses your Italian dishes with flavor that leaves people wondering what your secret is. Delicious!

Originally had a problem with a package via FedEx being delivered to the wrong address and then when it was retrieved and delivered to me arrived into deplorable condition. 100% respect to the seller who not only tracked down the item and had it delivered to me, but when it arrived in poorly condition, they then informed me to throw the first bag away, and they shipped me a new one at their expense. After having worked with the seller, I would happily order their product again. Excellent product - even better quality customer service. Fantastic value for the money.

I was expecting jalapeno level heat when I bought these. I was shredding a couple and tossing them in my eggs and on pizza and wondering why my stomach was hurting so bad afterwards. These peppers are quite a bit hotter than jalapenos, so beware. They're pretty tasty though!

If I use three peppers my head sweats

I haven't tried other calabrian chili so I can't compare them to other products. But, I throw two or three of these into a soup or a couple into pasta sauce and they add so much flavor and a nice bit of heat. I really like them. These are great!

I watch a lot of cooking shows and enjoy Bobby Flays series. He uses this spice a lot. This product is not easy to find but I did find it on Amazon. I selected the dried version and then ground it up in my spice blender. This is a very hot spice, but when used in cooking you only need to same amount to get a very tasty dish and when cooked it doesn't come out so how.
