Anyone interested in the art of clowning will be pleased to read this book
Anyone interested in the art of clowning will be pleased to read this book. These are great artists practicing the high wire art of "in the moment' performing...and you get to hear their influences, their theory of clowning and the situations and history of how they got to be where they are.Kudos to the authors for attempting to put into words the mechanics of a highly ephemeral art.

Step Right Up & Get Yours Today
This book contains not philosophy of clowning, more than suggestions on how to be funny. It's reading to be savored and digested, not just to race through.

What Might My Clown Look Like?
Thoroughly enjoyable reading in these troubled times. 20 conversations with clowns dedicated to their craft. I like the idea that “clown” is a state of being, a persona that requires removing layers and layers of self. One is able to read one or two conversations and allow the personalities to sit a bit until the next reading. What might my “clown” look like?

Clown Cartographers chart terra incognito.
This book is a superbly structured adventure into the creative minds of 20 performers. Like Bill Moyers's "The Power of Myth" or the movie "My Dinner with Andre", one finishes the book feeling fortunate to have been privy to such a rich series of conversations. The lessons contained herein will benefit beginners and experts alike.

funny, annoying
Everyone I know who has seen me with this book goes on to illustrate why they need to read it. Insightful, funny, annoying, heartbreaking; this is a book about all of us, whether we know it or not. We are all clowns.

Existential clown wisdom for everyone
Amazing interviews and lots if gems not just those in the business but everyone. Many of the interviews verge in existential thinking . if you are a facilitator there is also much to use. Expensive book as its a small press but rare stuff indeed.
