Useful
I use these to confine my goats to brush patches I'm trying to clear up. The goats won't go anywhere near it now so I'd say it works pretty well. I set it up around brush patches so that my goats can do their duties and it is relatively easy to move around. I had a few does run directly into it at first and get tangled so make sure that your animals know what it is before you leave them unsupervised, especially goats. It does lean a little bit and you have to adjust it from time to time but I personally think it's worth every penny, anything that'll keep a post hole digger out of my hands is alright with me. I use the Patriot P20 Dual Purpose Electric Fence Energizer, 2.0 Joule and I highly recommend it. I use the same charger to power a hot wire across the top of my goat pens as well as this netting.

Ehh.
It went up super easy. Like in minutes. But the sheep have knocked it over and broke poles continuously. Replacing the poles is beyond annoying.

Works great for goats and dogs!
Not sure how the other reviews were setting this up but it works great. Goats got hit and immediately knew they didnt want to mess with it. They stay about 3 feet away from it. Dog got hit and stays away too. Goes up easy. Posts stand straight and wires dont sag. Very happy **UPDATE** Well, this worked great for awhile. Once goats realized it was worth a short shock and the fence was flimsy enough to get over they went for it everytime. Would not recommend for stubborn goats.

Even better than similar product that we liked
Worked even better than another fence we had bought on Amazon. Posts were easy to push into ground fencing stayed taught and kept our goats penned in!

It works!
This is very easy to use and move when you want to move the goats to another pasture. The white poles do tend to pop off the bottom stakes when pulling them out of the ground. We have also had issues with the top being slack, so we added more step in poles for support. We have a Fi-Shock ss-525 attached to it. I wish both the Farmily and the Fi-Shock companies would give more information about if these work well together. Eventually I want to get a solar charger. The goats respect the fence now and will head butt anyone who dares to start to cross it.

Posts are troublesome, look at other products from other manufacturers.
This is my third in-use fencing product of this style and it is my least favorite. I previously purchased electric net fencing (all through Amazon) made by Premier1, then another Farmily product, and then this one. The Premier1 product I purchased did not have step-in posts (they offer other products which do have them). Installing posts without the little step-on piece in firm ground was a bit of a pain, but I got it done. It was my first experience with electric net fencing. I bought five sections, as I recall. I decided to find a product which had step-in posts and bought a Farmily product similar to this one but green in color. I only bought one section to try it out. I really liked the step-in functionality but wasn't wild about the green (I have sheep and goats and I do not know if they see color or not or if the different colors matter to them, but I prefer a more-visible color like the yellow (Premier1 product I ordered previously) or this one in orange). I decided to purchase three sections of this item. I am not happy with the product. My biggest complaint about this product is with the posts. In the first section of Farmily netting I bought (the single green section) I placed the fence in fairly mild soil (not hard to push the posts in) and knew exactly where it was going to go so I did not remove any posts once they were placed. With this product, where I was running it was an exercise in figuring out how much area I could enclose so I had some trial and error with post placement. Immediately I found that the spiked bottom section of the post was prone to simply coming off the end of of the post. That is, I could push it into the ground okay, but when I tried to pull the post out to move it, the post would separate from the spike piece in the ground. So I had to get down to the ground and pull the little nubbin out by hand and re-attach it to the post. This was a pain and wasted time. This was in pretty mild soil which had been rained on (about 3 inches) just a few days earlier. My next complaint was with the "step-in" piece on the spikes. I was pushing a post in with the step-in piece and my foot mostly, with a little force on the post with my hands, and placing the post in (again) some pretty mild soil and BAM, the little step-in piece just bent down, rendering it useless and the post un-drivable. I had to bend the little step back up and then push the post in almost entirely by hands on the post. This was one of the first posts I drove with this product and, afterward, I was very gentle with the foot step for all the rest. My other complaint is with the little metal clips to connect one section of fence to another or to the energizer. The clips are flimsy and are not as resilient as the clips on the Premier1 product. Engaging them one to another distorts them some and, though I have not had a problem so far, I worry that it distorts them enough to not hold reliably for the long term. This fence height and net spacing has worked well for containing the goats and sheep I have (I currently have 39 animals confined to two areas with nothing but electric netting), but this has been my least-liked product. The only saving grace is that you can purchase (as I have) some much better posts to either reinforce the fence or simply replace the posts with the netting (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010RJ7W22/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_20) ASIN: B010RJ7W22. You can purchase these posts locally if you have a Tractor Supply near you. The downside is that this increases the cost of the fence sections by about $30 or so, if you replace all the posts. The final take is this: electric netting of this style has proven to be a good way to confine my goats and sheep but this particular product should be avoided as each of three sections I received have had problems with the spikes coming off the posts, lodged in the ground (and this is not particularly tough ground). My first five sections of Premier1 fencing without step-in posts have been installed and removed a number of times and I have not had any problems with the spikes disengaging from the posts (all on the same property where I've had problems with this product). I have subsequently purchased three sections of another Premier1 product (their item 207025, ElectroStop 10/42/12) but I have not installed any of them yet. I can say, upon cursory inspection, that the spikes to go in the ground seem to be heavier duty and, in hindsight, I wish I had stuck with Premier1 products.
