Operation: Endgame

So, you're going to like it or hate it. I liked it.
This movie is different, and I like it because it is. I did not find it predictable and the fight scenes may be brief but you didn't have to suffer a 30 minute slap fight. The plot is a group of spies, alpha and omega, are locked in an underground facility after their boss was assassinated. The facility set to blow, suspicion and conspiracy has the two teams killing each other, all being witnessed by two monitors who can do nothing but watch while they are locked out of the system. It has a cast but if you're expecting Maggie Q. or Zach G., they're barely in it. And, if your on a time limit say, a buildings about to go down, are you gonna tickle, slap, or whatever happens in extremely long fight scenes? or are you gonna kill your obstacle.

Why not like it?
I will never understand why people don't like this movie. It has been a favorite of mine since its debut. I've seen some jokers talk about how it's too political, but what they don't get is the irony. You have an underground bunker filled with government assassins out to get each other using any means available, while the new prez is on the news talking about ushering in a new era a peace. It's hilarious, and the cast is perfect. A little over the top at times, a little gross at others. And, the commentary from the two security camera watchers is icing on the cake.

You are really stupid when you know you are wasting your time
I have just wasted over and hour and half on pure dee junk and this junk draws flies! I saw the cover and I saw Zach Galifianakis and thought I liked him in the Hangover and he was cute in Due Date so what the hell.....beat me with a stick, run me over with a truck, make me kiss a pig whatever but don't make me watch this again or allow anyone to watch this peice of male bovine fecces. I have no idea why this was made but this makes Steve Austin's direct to videos look goooood. Zach G. is not the main character and as a matter of fact has NO character. This is robbery of the first degree. If you even pick up this THING to look at it you should be beaten with sticks. The plot is something about two rival but balancing assassin teams that are in the basement of a building and .....No it is too painful to go on. This should be burned and buried. The writer should be shot. I can't say anymoreOkay I will give you some details about thi sthing. The plot of two groups of killers trapped in the basement of a building trying to kill each other is an excuse to find as many disgusting ways to kill a person. There are no likable people here. You also have to nerdy guys in a booth watching the action and they too get killed. There is Zach G wandering around in a bunny suit killing people. The battle scene between him and the girl is when he goes "mad" and yells and gets killed in a disgusting way. The final couple are not safe either and the ending... who cares. I think this was to be satire on something in the business world but....blaah!

Underused cast in Muddled Movie
One of those movies that didn't really know what it wanted to be, or if it did, didn't do a good job letting the audience know. Great cast, but they really don't get to do what they are good at. Some really great actors with a number of comedy all-stars (Odenkirk, Scott, Galifianakis, Corddry, Jackson) who don't really mesh with the material. Starts as a bit of an oddball comedy before the gravitating into a messy action/thriller with political overtones (which in this era causes the audience to immediately take sides).

So much wasted talent.
A lot of top actors in this that don't ever get the chance to shine because the entire thing is terrible from start to finish. Terrible dialog, terrible action, and terrible overall plot.

Outstanding Director!!!
Overall great! I love this director. It keeps you on your toes, the only thing I would recommend is to add a scene with a Quantum Computer.

Dark Fun
If you enjoyed the new Steven Yeun flick mayhem I believe you will enjoy this movie. Maybe even more. Rob Corddry is hilarious. Along with Odenkirk an Galifianakis. I would've liked a little more carnage but overall a solid dark comedy.

Witty and clever humour but lacking...
The films events all start and spiral from the action of one member of a government agency who decides to go rogue from `The Factory' where two teams of agents, awfully named after Tarot cards operate a balance to each other: Alpha and Omega. But of course the rogue goes and kills the person who keeps them all in check and then who is there?Answer: no one, and now they are all trapped. So they all start out on a mission to, what I see as, pointlessly killing each other in an attempt to somehow escape the explosives which are set to torch the place and all record of their mission and work. Instead of putting their clever minds together to come up with somekind of plan, they want to kill each other. It seems such a shame. Despite it being a mostly B list cast, there are lots of clever, witty and funny jokes which do seem out of place at times but all the same the dark humour is a welcome break to the needless violence that you are watching on screen. It possibly had the potential to be something good, but the effects are not too great either, coming off as kind of amateurish and lacking some kind of spark to get it going with some suspense.Sadly, its lack in so much just made it not that engaging or enjoyable to watch.Cassandra220689

pretty entertaining
A new generation of films have sprung up which I variously term 'post-game' or 'hyper-plot'. What do I mean?Simply this: a film is set up with an initial scenario, some event and then the unfolding of that event - while uncovering the truth behind the original scenario. This film follows the same trajectory. The event of the film is full of action and dominates screen time - done quite well, no real characters but plenty of fighting, screaming, surprises and laughs!Ving Rhames doesn't last that long either. It's a bit like watching a scripted game, in that the pieces on the board follow fairly prescribed rules and the dynamic unfolds linearly.A distraction from life - but an entertaining one. Some great humour in the two characters watching the drama unfold on their screens..
