TamaDrum Set Clamp (MXA53)

Works very well. Very simple. I have about three of the Yamaha closed hihat mounts. For years I always said those were the best and they adjust as well. But for easy and simple set up this Tama model worked a wonder and unlike the Yamaha closed hihat mount, the Tama will not have the problem with the adjustment setting traveling while you play it. With the Yamaha model you can turn this wheel to adjust the looseness or tightness of your hats, but as you hit it and play it tends to loosen up a bit. Tommy Aldridge once told me at a clinic that he uses a piece of duct tape over the wheel to prevent that from moving. But for the money with this TAMA model you can't beat this one.

Wow! It's my first hi-hat boom attachment I've ever owned, but I can't see how anything else could be better. Two settings for loose and tight hi-hat sounds. Powerful spring let's you easily set your hi-hat to the perfect open or closed positions. Quickly and easily change between the tight and loose setting by moving the lever. It can be done while playing by hand, but I was having some success changing between settings with my drumstick.

I used this for a china/crash cymbal stacker!

Great Tama quality and innovation. A must for Double pedal/ Double Bass drum players. Easy set up and work well on any set up

Don't know many applications I would use this for, but it works perfect. Nice to have if I want it.
