Savoy Cabbage Vertus

Description

A hardy winter cabbage producing dark green heads with an excellent flavour. The darker, outer leaves contain the most nutrients, so be sure to use these first. Indoor Planting:Sow seeds 1.5cm deep in trays of moist compost, be careful not to over-water. Store in a glass house at an approx. temperature of 10-15 c 50-60 f . Transplant when the plants have 5 ndash; 6 leaves, harden off first. Outdoor Planting:Sow seeds 1.5cm deep direct in growing bed. Keep the soil moist, and be careful not to over-water. When large enough to handle thin to 18 45cm apart.Keep well watered in dry conditions.Feed with a liquid fertiliser.
