Perfect for a home gym
Looks like we've made a very good investment. This bench is perfect for what I needed. I got this bench because of the pandemic; I wanted a bench to use for working out at home during all of the gym closures. After doing some research I decided on this one and I am glad I did. It was easy to assemble because it comes assembled! Perfect for a home gym. It fits nicely in my home workout space. This bench is great for all the exercises I do from chest, to back, and core. And my wife does sit-ups on it too. You can easily adjust the angle of the bench. It's padded and comfortable and the backrest positions are easy to change from incline, flat or decline. It is also very sturdy so I don’t have to worry about it moving while I am working out. It has increased my motivation to work out now that I can do it right from my home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to build a home gym. Great value for the money.

Great bench, looks great and seems like it'll last years.
Has clear instruction, so very easy to assemble. Looks good and is easy to use. Nice amount of adjustment levels as well. Seat, foot rest/lock and back rest are all adjustable. There have been a few complaints with the strength of the bench. I can only guess they were expecting to get a gym quality $2000 bench. This bench will do more than it is rated for. One person reports the braces that hold the seat back in position bent. But the photos show a groove in the support bar. So either they were using way too much weight or they were doing something wrong. Another complaint is that the back support bends. As you can see in my photo the back has a support beam going all the way up. To bend that bar, again, either using way more weight then bench is rated for or doing something wrong. Possibly arching the back, which is common but shouldn't be done. Even then I can't imagine the weight needed to bend a square metal beam. Another person reported that the support legs rest on exposed bolts but look at my picture and you can see that it has rubber feet that support it and no bolts touch the ground. Someone said that the gap was huge between the seat and the back but on nine it's only 2 fingers wide. I am wondering if the complainers got a different bench, because they didn't get the one I bought. Over a year of use and not a single problem. Maybe it is that I don't bench 300lbs.

Overall sturdy incline and flat bench (questionably for decline stability)
Very stable bench (250 pound/6'1"). At all support levels from fully upright to flat, the bench was very solid and comfortable. Although the bench does allow to be put in a decline mode, the very strong support bar does not have a notch for decline so it rests on top of the notches which allows the bench back to move slightly. It doesn't feel like it will slip off but I prefer a more solid decline experience. The rest of the bench appears to be high quality and very strong structurally.I have not used any weights on the bench at this time but in assembling the bench (use a socket set to make it easier), I would feel comfortable exceeding the 400 pound weight limit recommendation (not recommending that any one reading this does exceed the 400 pound suggested weight limit). I have included photos showing the hardware used along with the thickness of the metal and bolts. Decent welds, attractive color design, decent padding, although stiff.Chinese manufactured - this is one area I had a hard time getting past. I do not like supporting the Chinese government with my hard earned dollars. I added the origin of manufacture since I didn't realize before I bought the bench and it is clearly stamped on the outside of the box that the bench is packaged.

Love it, but you really need a socket set.
This is a very attractive and sturdy workout bench. My new home gym is in my bedroom so I didn't want just any ugly old bench and this one was reasonable and is working for me perfectly. And it's cool looking, I must say. I'm 190lbs and this is completely sturdy. I would feel comfortable on it at my old, 235lb weight.I do need to mention assembly. While not all that difficult, you really need a socket set to assemble this thing unless you are a total masochist. The bolts are long, the threads are tight and can't really be tightened by hand. If you took the bolt and put the nut on the end, you couldn't get much past the first turn without needing a wrench. So you're looking at holding a bolt with one wrench while trying to tighten the nut with the other wrench and you only have another inch to go with 60 more turns before you're done. It's over-engineered and you aren't going to have to tighten anything for a while, but it's a pain with the tools they provide. I went and got my socket set and was done in no time.So. Buy this bench and if you don't have one, buy a socket set. It's worth it.

Probably the best bench in its class!
The bench is very well built, and honestly, looks good as an addition to the home gym.I had one little tricky moment putting it together, and something to be alert to should you order this bench and will be the one putting it together. There are 3 long bolts that appear very much alike (they are the 3 longest bolts in the package), and if you aren't paying attention to them when removing them from the packaging, you'll find that they are slightly different in size and circumference and if you mix them up, things can get a little tricky. Make sure you look at the packing number on the packaging before removing and using these 3 bolts! Not a problem from the manufacturers end, more a mistake on my end for not looking at the numbering more closely! Pay attention to those 3 bolts, and the rest is a breeze setting things up.Overall, the bench is solid, and being a weightlifter for over 50 years, I'd say this is one of the better benches I have owned for a home gym. I'd go so far as to say, this is probably the best in its class with regard to price, construction and aesthetics!
