Now and Later Original Chews, 60 Ounce Jar

Just like many others, I'm sure you're readingthe reviews to see if these are the classic hard candy's that we all loved to eat back in the day. I could only find the Chewy versions around my local stores so I decided to ordered this one on Amazon since it had good reviews. I'll tell you right now that this is it. The flavors, the hard texture, the wrapping paper ripping and sticking to the candy when you unwrap it. The flavors were all good and just how I remembered it but the green apple hit me with nostalgia the most. It's definitely the one but I will admit that you'll get those pieces that are a little soft but not as soft and chewy as those abominations they sell in stores nowadays. The price is pretty reasonable for the amount you get. Definitely would recommend this if you loved the classic Now N Laters.

Overpriced but arrived intact, fresh & edible. Nice occasional snack/treat. 3rd or 4th time ordering these from amazon.Individually wrapped packages of each flavor. I opened each pack & put single candies back inside container so we wouldn't have to fight with unwrapping whenever we wanted a quick snack/treat. Better for ease of access but I certainly prefer them individually packaged like they come.No damage to container. Will buy again.

The flavors are delicious,soft,freezing them is like so awesome if I want a hard piece, I keep some in freezer.ppPrice could be a little low but it is good.But holloween they could make a killing if lowered the price.I would buy.I love it I bought many I'm still addicted to my favorite candy.I Will continue to buy more.

The candy of my youth makes a return in my life! The same, rock hard, then slowly turns to stick-to-your-teeth and pull out your fillings kind of sweet taffy that I loved as a child is now available in diabetic coma amounts in this nice container. Having each flavor wrapped individually instead of being loose in the container may be seen as inconvenient to some, but I feel it's the companys way of preventing me from eating them all in one sitting and regretting my choices later(I may still try though). Only thing I am dissatisfied with is the ratio of flavors. I know someone is not sitting there counting out the flavors, but the conatiner I got had way too many green apple and nearly no grape or cherry. Some consistency would be nice. Will make a great treat jar for guests, kids, or just myself(mostly myself)

This is my second time buying this candy. First time was wonderful and they were in Mini package of five for each flavor. These are several bags on the original mix and are singles. Well they are all old and sticky. In every bag, the cherry-flavored was super old and stuck on the inside of each bag. You will try to pull one out and hand would be sticky. . Everything was nasty. I will not buy again because you can’t return it

I prefer my Now & Laters to be stale, just like my Red Vines. These are not stale. They are super fresh and chewy. So, for those of you who love super chewy and fresh Now & Laters... these are for you!I'll be letting mine sit for a few years so they get stale. LOL :)Can't fault them for sending me fresh Now & Laters, though! :) Just my preference.
