Craftsman 583513401 Lawn Mower Drag Link, Right Side

Not sure if it's as durable as factory piece, but fit no problem and seems well made

7-8 out of 10 difficulty installing. Must remove many pieces, steering linkage, gas tank (on some models), battery, brake system, brackets etc. If you are a die hard “do it yourself” person and have the proper tools, go for it like I did. Just know that these are the front end parts that you pray you never have to change. These are, however, the identical heavy duty OEM parts that you should use for your mower’s front end. I’m not dinging the overall score for the part because the manufacturer made them so hard to install. These are excellent replacement parts. Hope this helps.

Replacement for broken part fits and performs perfectly

Replaced both left and right drag links. Parts seem well made and fit perfectly. I watched a YouTube video on a YT4000 like mine but Craftsman must have changed the models because I had to remove the sector gear to gain access to the drag link nuts. Removed the mower deck for better access. Only one large bolt to remove the sector gear but watch where the washers go and plastic caps on the drag links nuts. All in all it took about an hour or so.

Not as long as stock ones So the tires were so pigeon toed I couldn’t drive it, I had to take a torch to them and straighten them out to make them longer. I couldn’t send them back because they sat on my shelf for a month before I put them on
