Felt Fedora Wool Hat Classic Manhattan Mens Indiana Jones Hats Gangster Stain Unisex

Bought this for use in a play. It will serve it's purpose for that. Any structured hat made of wool is going to be bottom end, cheaply made, difficult to hold a good shape, difficult TO shape & block, and not hold up very well when exposed to inclement weather. Even a 3x fur rabbit felt is typically miles ahead of this hat. If you're looking for a hat that's going to be worn a fair amount, go for a felt hat that comes in an actual hat size. This was not my first choice even for a play as vintage felt hats can often be had for this price or less. Problem was my actor's head was too darn big and I just couldn't find a vintage one in time.The hat arrived in a box that was far too small and it was terribly misshapen. As mentioned, wool hats are a bit of a challenge to block so I didn't even try my steamer. I took to local hatters and they made it look good enough for theatre. If you're really into the idea of wearing a good looking hat, I'd steer clear of this or any of the wool hats and find a fur felt in your actual hat size. Yes it's more money, but well worth it.

Quality seems to be very nice and shape is nice and if it gets distorted it goes right back to original shape. My dislike was that it was shipped in a plastic shipping bag but fortunately mine arrived in pretty good condition just a slight reshaping was needed. Highly recommend this Fedora.

I really like this hat. I came all crumpled up though. I hung it in the shower, while I showered, without getting it wet and I was able to easily shape it.

I wanted a hat to keep the rain off my head, but something nicer that a floppy bucket hat. This felt is very thick and sturdy, and the crown is nicely blocked. The hat is more dressy than any felt crusher I've seen. Very 50's. It took several weeks to get here (not the vendor's fault) but I'm quite happy with it.

My husband loves this hat. He wears it all the time and it looks good on him. It's easy to take care of

Beautifully made hat, just what my husband wanted.. he measured his head and got exact size, however was a little small. Need to go with next size bigger than actual size of head.
