Extreme Sim Racing Logitech SWE Add-On GT Steering Wheel Rim - Fits Logitech G29 and Logitech G923

listen, we all know how sketch modding things or taking things apart or disassemble stuff can be, i promise you, with only the best of intentions, that this will be entirely worth it, especially if you have become an avid sim racer. this hits strides in three categories for me that i hope you have considered: one, it’s a gt wheel, you go from feeling like driving the car you take to work to driving a race car; two, if your like me and your monitor hits the base of your wheel, the top of the full round wheel cuts off 1-2/3rds of your screen, this wheel right here, there’s none of that, u see everything, and three, it was seamless to install, the fitment was perfect, i put it on and sat back in my chair and was just like…woah…. MY ONLY CAUTION BEFORE YOU BUY and it’s not even about the wheel itself, is that you have to remember that you no longer have a full round wheel, and things like driving with 900 degree rotation, casual driving and drifting become hard if not impossible, so i warn you only of that. otherwise this is a home run slam dunk my friends, buy this and you will question why you didn’t buy it when you first had your wheel, or better yet question why they don’t just make a wheel like this.

Exactly what I needed as I couldn’t get one locally. Quality of the product is great, shifters are way better than the standard ones. I have become very consistent in my racing already and it enhances the experience of sim racing. Assemble was abit difficult as I was missed 1 specific screwdriver but managed. All in all extremely happy with this purchase

This an awesome looking wheel. Unlike other aftermarket G29 wheels, this one isn't a flat piece of sheetmetal but has the same curved/slanted shape as the stock wheel. If you didn't know you would have thought it was the stock wheel.The SWE 29 wheel alone (without the paddles and center plate) weighs 328 grams vs 452 grams for the stock wheel. Center plate + paddles weigh 142 grams. With the weak motor that the G29 has, I figure it's better to keep the wheel as light as possible and stick to the stock Logitech (plastic) center plate and paddles. In order to use the stock center plate, you need to enlarge the holes from 12.5 mm to 13.5 mm. I trimmed off part of the standard paddles for aesthetics because I think they look better.Maybe it's just my imagination but the lighter wheel seems to feel and respond a little bit better.The only negatives I can think of are the additional shipping cost and import fees deposit which bumped up the total cost to $160. But fortunately the Euro is strong so €130something is kind of ok.Now, whether or not this wheel is worth it, is up to you. I'm not gonna upgrade to Fanatec or whatever anytime soon so I feel, it was worth it.

you'll want to get some sand paper or an emory board and smooth out the molding lines.if your buttons don't work after install, perhaps you iver tightened the center cap... just turn them a tad past snug...

Really like it. Sometimes I wish I could just swap the other wheel on to drift but I’ll have to upgrade the wheel set up for that. All in all a good buy if your looking for a little more immersion. I play GT7 and ACC just to reference.

Perfect upgrade for my G923... I've always liked this style better. I was even able to fit the factory center cover back on

It was a perfect fit on my G29 wheel, no issues during install. And the video was a great help! It feels good and looks great.Only downside is the price, imo should be about 75 bucks at most, but everything in the sim racing hobby is over priced.
