This was a gift for the boyfriend, and he loved it. He'd been wanting one that didn't have too much color dominating it because it would've probably looked a little tacky/cheap on his nice and beautiful new truck. I agreed, so the hunt began for me to find one and surprise him with it. To my surprise, these are much harder to find than I had thought!I had been looking (ok, ok, passively looking wherever I already happened to go) at just about every store that carries Sharks gear in the area, including the actual Sharks store and all of the merchandise stands thought the shark tank during home games. No luck. Every license plate frame I came across was either dominated with mostly teal or orange or both, or was flimsy looking and made of plastic.Finally I decided I would need to do more than just passively look only where it was convenient. His birthday was approaching, and while I already had a big gift for him, I wanted to throw in this as an extra little something too. When I can't find what I'm looking for locally (and often even when I can...), I turn to my favorite website to shop... You guessed it, I came to Amazon. And just like in the past, Amazon confirmed that it once again has my back!The frame does look really nice on his truck, and he really loved the surprise (turns out he'd almost given up on finding one too). Which is why this got my 4 stars. However, I had to deduct a star because I was actually kind of disappointed when I first opened it up. The plastic part of the frame (where the words are), still looked pretty cheap to me. I was a bit bummed because I thought that it had looked nicer in the picture than it did in person. That said, I couldn't tell any difference once it was on the truck. I'm hoping that I was just being too particular, and that it will prove its quality by lasting a long time.

To be honest, even for the good price it's very poor quality. I find it hard to believe this is a genuine NHL product. The color of the frame is different from the writing piece that is glued on. Even worse, the glued on piece is crooked. I took photos but don't see an option to upload in this review. Will post photos as soon as I figure out how. I don't recommend...invest your money else where.

First off, I ordered what was supposed to be a chrome Official NHL Pittsburgh Penguins plate cover (the first picture), but what I received was very different (the second picture). The only thing right about it was the team name. The frame I got was white plastic, despite the “chrome frame” barcode tag on the back of the frame, the team name decals were just stickers (not sure how those are supposed to hold up in weather), and the stickers weren’t even straight, I had to straighten them out to fit into the grooves where they’re supposed to go. The only reason I gave this more than one star is because it was the correct team name, and (while not desirable) is still usable as a license plate cover.

I'm so ecstatic that my boys won the Stanley Cup! Love having this license plate frame on the back of my car to show off that MY TEAM WON! And I live in Northwest Indiana. Most of my friends think I'm crazy that I don't like the Blackhawks! Whatever my boys won the CUP!!!

I was pretty excited to get this for my man's new car but this was quite a fail. The quality is subpar at best. The lettering literally looks like there is a blurring effect over it, nowhere as clear as the product photo. The frame itself is grainy and not appealing to look at. At the very least you can definitely tell what the team name is and the color is okay. It does it's job but ultimately I'm going to go pay the extra money at the mall for one of those nice laser inlay ones that look like a glass finish.

It's like their printer was out of ink, but they said "eff it, send it anyway". I've seen better quality printing in a newspaper picture. It's really bad. If it came out like in the picture it would be great, but it's really faded and splotchy printing. If I get a chance, I'll take a picture and upload it, but Amazon sent me an email asking for a review, and it reminded me just how terrible this is.

The item recieved is not the product pictured. This is the 2nd one Amazon has sent me that is not correct. Buyer beware

like the baseball plate holder, if feels a little too plastic and I wonder how it will survive the sun of Florida. but it was great in every other way. I think I heard it sing Gloria to me when I put it on the car.

Had to use it on the front plate as it covers the 'ontario' on the back, which is where I wanted to use it. But it is heavy and made well.

Bought this for grandson's car, however, he liked it so much it went on his "Leaf"s wall.

I really like it but the glue that holds the sticker on is already coming Loose and is not on there very well

Looks good a bit pricey
