It works for our purpose
It works for our purpose and I got it here for a very low price "used". So my disabled wife has an external speaker to hear mostly voice audio from her laptop while sitting around the house. This is not a "good" speaker however. It is not adequately clear to play distinguishable music and will distort pretty easily i.e. when the laptop is turned full-volume.
