The Rosa shoe from Capezio will add a sizzling finish to your next spin on the dance floor. Its flexible upper features an elegant array of straps and a speed-buckle closure for quick wardrobe changes. The suede outsole will keep you gliding in glamour. Salvatore Capezio was born in 1871 in Muro Lucano, Italy. Uninterested in following in his father's footsteps as a construction engineer, he became an artist of his own right, a cobbler. In 1887, at the age of 17, he opened his shop on Broadway and 39th Street, diagonally across from the old Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. Soon, the shop became a meeting place for dancers who would stop by to discuss their needs and to get a pair of his shoes. As Capezio's popularity grew, dancers from around the world made it a point to visit him and purchase his shoes. The innovation of the products that Salvatore Capezio created and the camaraderie he shared with the dancers molded the direction that his company would follow. In this image, the Capezio brand was established to promote and recognize ongoing achievements and participation in dance. Capezio products remain in the forefront in quality and in technological advances with innovations like the split-sole, the stretch-insert, the Dansneaker and the Tapsneaker. Capezio believes that their success is dependent upon the individual commitment of each customer to continually set new standards of creativity and performance, while preserving a reputation for dependability and distinction. Capezio pledges their support and dedication to the advancement of dance, theater and recreation in communities worldwide.

Using these for a DWTS kind of competition - As a new dancer - I love them!
I'm a new dancer and my dancer partner recommended that I get a pair of Capezio shoes because they were the best brand for dancers, but also because they last a long time because they are so well made.I've been training for at least a few hours a day for a couple of days a week for a little over a month now and the shoes are wonderful. I'm able to slide easily with these and they support my body weight without any issue. The only small issue that I have with them is that they are a little too wide for my foot. I have very narrow feet, so it don't get as much support on the sides of my feet, but aside from that I think they are a great buy.As a word of advice, if you're a new dancer you're going to have to ask someone how to put them on and tighten them. I had to create holes in them to make sure they were snug enough, and I used a Youtube video to show me how to put them on. So if you aren't familiar with ballroom dance shoes you'll need to see a video or ask someone how to wear them once they arrive.

Overall very nice
The shoes fit well, and they're very pretty. However, the toe strap closest to the heel was super small compared to the rest. So all the other straps fit fine, but I had to put them on shoe stretchers for that 1 strap because it was digging a line through my foot. I've never had that issue before, so I'm sure it's these shoes. Also, the color is not camel colored AT ALL, it is a grapefruit pink, which was fine for me. But if you need nude or tan, these are not the ones for you.Overall, the quality is good and they are comfortable.

Great for sitting around watching TV (even better for dancing)
Don't get me wrong, I am no couch potato, but I do enjoy a healthy dose of Real Housewives at least twice week. That's why I like to wear these professional dance shoes around my house! I would like to think that I use them for my regular bouts of salsa dancing, but let's be honest, I don't really go salsa dancing all that often. They are beautiful shoes and really comfortable for someone who never wears high heels thanks to that long-term ex-boyfriend that was an inch taller than me. They are true to size also, they are supposed to be snug or else you'll trip over your feet while you dance! They also look way better than in this strange picture they have here.I'll let you know just as soon as I actually go dancing in them, but I think they are going to be great. It is certainly more fun studying in them and they work for making dinner and cleaning the bathroom too! It also doesn't hurt that I got them for $25 on amazon warehouse deals.

Fine (but narrow) dance shoe
Overall I am content with this shoe. On the upside, it looks nice, the heel is a dance-able height and stable, and the bottom works well for spins and quicker turns. However, this is not the shoe for you if you have wide feet. My feet are fairly (but not extremely) narrow, and it fits well at the heel and is even slightly too narrow through the toe box. The straps by the toe are a bit strangely placed (I suspect that may be more about my foot than the shoe), but they are getting more comfortable with wear. After several classes and some social dancing (roughly 8 hours of break-in time), I'd say the shoe is comfortable for up to about 2 hours, but not much more. It seems to be slightly prone to scuffs, but they aren't terribly noticeable on the black. In short, if you have narrow feet and can manage some time to break them in, I think these shoes have more pros than cons; if you have wide feet, I wouldn't recommend them.

Stretches to fit, good for beginners
This was my first pair of ballroom dance shoes. Though at first they were a little tight, they do stretch out to fit very comfortably (this is expected of dance shoes). They started to overstretch a little bit as time went on...though this can also often be expected of dance shoes.I dance about 6 - 8 hours a week and they certainly lasted. I wore these for 3 months before I decided to get another pair of shoes for competitive ballroom dance, as these are more suited for social dancing. However, I still keep them as a backup pair.

Mis-matched Shoes
The price was great, but the shoes were not. I think I got two different sized shoes. The left foot fits just fine, but the right foot scrunched my toes together and was VERY painful. I even tried to wear the right shoe with socks and it was still too tight across the toe. The sole is flexible for dancing, but they are too flexible. NO support and the heel feels as if it's going to buckle due to the placement. You ca also see the toe straps (ribbon) protruding through the felt on the sole of the shoe. I wore them for about 30 minutes around my house and my feet were killing me. I filled out the return within an hour of receiving them. I would not recommend these shoes. I have already found another pair and will be ordering those instead.

Not!
It is very uncomfortable. It has no support in the toes area. I guess it would be fine if you just dance 1 or 2 songs in a night, but if you are like me and like to dance all the night for the whole weekend, this shoes are NOT for you. The price is good and they look cute on, but is not worthy. I rather pay a little bit more and be comfortable and HAPPY the whole time. It is true to size though.

yaaaaay so good
I've been salsa dancing for about three years and I finally dished out for a pair of actual dance heels, and these are amazing. They fit true to size, they're wicked comfortable, and they're actually really bendy/flexible, which was surprising. The color is very flattering on my pale skin, and I've gotten a ton of compliments on these shoes. And no one could believe I got Capezio shoes for like less than $60.The only cons are that the front toe part of this shoe sticks out a little. At first I thought it looked a little goofy, but then after wearing them for a while my toes kind of squished in to cover it anyway. Also I wish it had come with a shoe brush, since I don't have one, but that's no big deal.Long story short: an amazing shoe, even for a pretty inexperienced dancer, very pretty and comparatively cheap!

Baile
Los compré por error sin fijarme que son zapatos de baile. Tienen la suela blanda, no se pueden llevar a la calle.Si los quieres para bailar, son preciosos

Beautiful dancing shoes!
I have large feet and these fit perfectly! The straps are 2 inches too long so I'll have to get them shortened. Other than that, they're perfect.

a little bit of toe overhang and the ankle strap ...
a little bit of toe overhang and the ankle strap was too big. If I had gone for a 7 they would certainly have been too large all over.

US size measures, not UK
The shoes are nice but I made a mistake with size as the size table provided was confusing. On the pair that arrived it was US size measures, not UK as I selected when ordered it. Otherwise the quality and color looks nice, I did not try them on though. The buckle is convenient as it fixes the foot and is suitable for narrow fit.

Wonderfully flexible
These shoes are just perfect for any sort of ballroom or Latin dance they may be required for. They have wonderful flexibility and enable to wearer to dance freely without having to think about her footwear at all.
