Capezio girls Ultra Soft Self Knit Waistband Tight

I was on a quest for quality tights for our girls to wear with their school uniform jumpers. The reviews of this product as well as the transitional features are what sold me. These tights far exceeded my expectations even for everyday school wear vs. once a week for a few hours at dance class. The fit was as expected; perfect for our daughters so there's no figuring out whose tights are whose when getting dressed in the mornings. Another plus with tights in general (vs. socks) is that they're always ready to go after washing & drying. No need to find the match to make a pair (those infernal unmatched socks!).Despite frequent use, they have held up very well even out of the washing machine. To be honest I don't hand wash them as suggested - they wind up in the hamper more times than not! Other tights are subject to running and tearing even after one or two wears; or after a child in a hurry pulls them on way too quickly by the waistband, or poke their toe too forcefully out the end. They snag and sometimes sag out of shape. Not so with these. IMO, the hole at the bottom (which makes them transitional) actually prevents the toe-hole problem. It gives the toes somewhere to go rather than through the material!They are thin enough to be comfortable, but thick enough to provide warmth as well as remain durable. Because they are transition tights, the girls can walk around in their bare feet when they get home before changing out of their uniforms & not soil the soles. In fact, I liked the transition feature so much that I purchased a few pairs of women's transition tights for myself (different product listing, obviously)!I will purchase more as the school year progresses. My one complaint: I wish they were available in navy blue too!

There tights are great! They do have the elestic waistband instead of the soft one, but that doesn't bother my daughter. she loves these tights and says they are comfortable. They feel well-made, like they will last a while. The ballet pink color is a nice shade and i like it better than the Ballet pink color in other brands. They stretch well and the 8-12 size fits my 11-year-old very well.

These tights were perfect and are thicker than most! I was worried about the waistband style irritating my dancer, but it was not a problem. The pink seemed dark, but looked great when worn.

These are perfect, they are cheaper here than if you buy at a dance store and the same quality and the thickness is great and actually durable for a dance competition season. the fit is true to size and the appearance is spot on.

I typically purchase Capezio tights from my local dance store but wasn’t going to be able to make it during their business hours. I was happy to find the style and size my daughter needed since she outgrew the smaller size in what felt like overnight. My only issue is the thick elastic capezio branded waistband that is not normally on the tights. They are fine for class but will not be seamless under a leo/costume for a performance. If your dancer has sensory issues it could pose a problem as well as the band is a bit stiffer than the very soft tights fabric. The waistband isn’t pictured, so we weren’t expecting it, otherwise the tights are the high quality I expected from Capezio.

These were for my daughters dance performance and they worked out. She usually wears size 10 in girls leggings, she's around 75lbs, and she has sensory needs. She said these didn't bother her for the few hours that she had to wear them. Plus they fit great- not too tight or loose. Nice quality

Great convertible tights, they’re thick and durable yet soft and breathable. Love that they can be used for tap and rolled up for gymnastics. The size runs very small. I ordered the smaller size first, and had to re order the 8-12 size. My child is 5 yrs old and tall for her age, wearing size 6x os smalls. I just realized we had the smaller size (I think 2-6) when she was 3 yrs old for dance class.

Product is advertised as a pack of 3 but I only received 1 pair of tights. The tights are really good quality and my little girl loves them but ordered these specific ones thinking I would receive 3 pairs.

The size chart is seriously wrong. I bought the 8-12 sized tights for my 10 year old daughter and they are only about half the length of her legs.
