I recently discovered that a skunk was bumping my bee hives and then eating the honey bees that came out to defend it at night.I was seeing a non-lethal method that would stop the skunk from visiting and thought I would give this PetBroo unit a try. We set out several motion activated cameras to see what the skunk did when these sound off and we got nothing. Why? Because these units are very sensitive and sounded off before the skunk came into camera range.They all arrived partially charged and finished charging the very first day I put them out.The sensors are detecting my movement 70-80 feet from the units on maximum sensitivity. If I just do a fast walk through, all five units pulse their lights and make lots of pest repelling noise.My only critique and suggestion would be for them to have a day/night mode so I can set and forget them as I don't want them going off during daylight hours and have to go and turn them each off individually.I would definitely recommend them to beekeepers or anyone that has raiders visiting.FIVE STARS just get them, they work!

Before ordering this item I had skunks roaming around the yard four nights in a row. One night my ring ca,era captured one skunk walk up the stairs to the door. I though he was going to ask if my dog could come outside and play. I placed the item in the yard and only put it on level two. It works like magic. The only time a skunk has come near the lawn is when I forgot to turn it on. This is a miracle saver, I plan on ordering another one from r the backyard, because I definitely don’t want my dog to get sprayed. Great item for the price.

My cats have NOT gone to poop in our Atrium since I installed this in a corner of that area. The Ultrasonic works well as my son who came to visit sat in a room across from the Atrium. He kept complaining about a sensitive noise he could hear at certain times, in the room. And it was bothering his hearing. Well, guess what??? We discovered that it was the PETBROO doing it's job!!! So, it really does work, folks! I am so happy that this invention works. We have tried everything from sprinkling stuff, sprays, Cayenne Pepper, everything! So, get one!!!

We don’t have dog and cat at home, but we have rats in the garden, I hope this will work, I used for a week now, I don’t see any rat, but I heard they will get used to the sound and come back. I hope this can last and work

I purchased this in Nov 2019, easy to charge initially, placed it in garden, then moved to different locations around my yard. The lights and sound were visible when I tested them. Seemed to work for animals that did not expect it to be there, the animals that frequented the yard just got used to it.It no longer seemed to be working so I brought it in the check/change the battery.1. Can not turn the screws to open the battery compartment.2. It was full of water that dribbled out thru the dials.3. Screws are all rusty.4. Charging area is rusty.5. None of the screws on the back of the unit would turn, all are rusty.Don't know if there is any point in contacting mfg.

My raised garden box was becoming a giant litter box for stray cats... No more...! It totally freaks them out.It’s keeping everything else out too. Solar power is nice because it’s getting expensive putting batteries in the old owls in my other gardens... if this one keeps working good I’ll be placing one in every garden.

Pros:- NoneCons:- Even when it was new and dry, it didn't repel the raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, groundhog or deer that constantly grazed on our plants right in front it- Every time it rained it would fill with water. I'd dry it out, recharge it, and try again. Lather, rinse & repeat until it's time to return it.- Absolutely, positively untrue that it is IPxx certified water resistant. Totally false claim, as would be expected from comm't Chinese companies.

I am dealing with a stray cat problem. They get in the trash, set off my security alarms, fight in the night outside my bedroom window and waken my indoor watchdog. The repellent functions great yet fails to deter them. It is completely ineffective. They just ignore the red flashing lights and high pitched sound and continue their nightly rounds. I cannot recommend it for cats although it sure tries.
