I was looking for glass storage containers, to get away from the family microwaving leftovers in plastic storage containers! These are the PERFECTS size for smaller portions of leftovers. The lids are NOT microwave safe, but they ARE top rack dishwasher safe, and come out of the dw looking new every time! (You CAN purchase silicone lids for them which ARE microwave safe. I'm planning on doing so!) Since they are not tall, and are a rectangular shape, they fit VERY WELL in the refrigerator, even stacking neatly. Since they are glass, you can even see what is stored in them, which makes retrieving the correct container easy! I've already purchased another set of this size!

That's right we made the switch from plastic to glass and landed on pyrex products as our favorite choice for glass containers. We like the fact that you can use them in the microwave or a preheated oven (some have temperature maximums) We like how they are clean, look clean and feel clean after... you guessed it, cleaning them. We appreciate the size as we are working on our nutrition and portion distortion. For us this is if not the perfect size it is close enough. We highly recommend this product for your kitchen.

The container lids are not the same as they were a few years ago. Broken in less than a year of use.

Safe and easy to heat up whether you use microwave , oven or my hot pot

First, I love love love the shape. So much easier to stack, keep the lids in order, etc. Round storage containers waste a lot of space. That said, some of the lids on this are pretty loose fitting. I can work with it, but it wouldn't take it in the car to a picnic or whatever. Yes, I could've ordered new lids, but I'm not going to. Just be aware that it might not be waterproof.

I eat a whole food, plant based diet. I also camp once a month for 6 - 10 days. Because of this, I must prep all of my meals in advance of each trip and then try to fit them into a dorm room sized fridge. These dishes are the perfect size (3 cups). Chili, pasta sauce, curry etc etc. all stacked nicely in my tiny rolling home's fridge. The rectangular shape assures no wasted space and I have just enough food without waste or trying to figure out how to store leftovers. At home I can make a big batch of something and freeze in these dishes. When frozen, pop the "ice cube" out of the dish and put it in a freezer bag. To eat I just drop the frozen entree back in the dish and heat it up. So perfect.

We love these glass storage dishes that allow instant reheating of leftovers in the microwave. We've tried other brands and the quality of both the plastic covers and the glass itself were poor - both failed. The other brand glass dishes chipped and cracked in our dishwasher, and the plastic lids cracked just from use.

I originally bought these Pyrex 3 cup storage for portion controlling my meals. It’s just my husband and I, so I think each Pyrex is good for 1 meal/2 people. I still use for storage, but I’ve also began to meal prep onions, bell peppers, and cooked ground sausages. They keep the veggies and meat fresh for when I need to whip something up for dinner after a long day at work. Since buying this set uof four, I’ve gotten more Pyrex containers: two casserole dish, one 8x8 dish, and two small “dressing” containers. I use all of them. I think they’re better than Tubberware because these Pyrex have a glass container than can go in the oven if you wanted to make the dinners up again of time and just pop them in the oven when you are ready, without having to transfer food to a oven-safe sheet pan or something.

He comprado estos moldes (con tapa roja) de la misma marca en Wallmart (en tiendo, no en linea) . La verdad son una buena opción, pero lo que recibí hoy, no tiene nada que ver con lo que había comprado antes.Primero, el empaque totalmente deficiente. Solo venían envueltos en plástico de burbuja pequeña y una buena parte de las burbujas ya habían reventado cuando los recibí. Esto hace que prácticamente solo lleguen envueltos en una bolsa de plástico. Fue mucha suerte que no se hayan roto.Segundo, las tapas no corresponden al tamaña de los contenedores. Las tapas son mas grandes de lo que deberían y no ajustan con el contenedor. Lo que puedas poner en el contenedor, seguro se va a salir.Tercero, el material de las tapas es muy rígido, muy diferente al material de las tapas rojas. El producto en términos generales me dejó la impresión de ser algo bastante corriente y que no se puede comparar a lo que esa marca fabricaba.Hoy inicio el procedimiento para devolverlos.
