4PACK 48 "X 24 "X 2" Black Acoustic Panels Studio Soundproofing e Tiles,

I bought a 4 pack that came compressed into the size of a shoe box. I opened them and sprung to size very quickly. I left them over night as the directions stated and mounted them the next night. First off...They are perfectly cut nice and even. The black foam has a bit of a sparkly bling to it so it looks cool too. I mounted 2 of these on each side wall in my studio to take care of reflection(bounce) and they are just what the doctor prescribed. I am going to order 4 more to finish the room out completely. REMEMBER !... these are not for sound proofing or deadening, they are best for reflections and room echoes and bouncing etc. Excellent product for the right $$$$

Took a couple of hours for them to fully expand. Installed using simple thumb tacks instead of adhesive. Worked very well dampening sound!

I like this product. As far as insulation goes, you are probably going to need a little bit more than this to fill sound proof your room. Do you research and also do your testing. (Rugs, door insulators, etc. is what I would recommend)

The foam panels are not 24" x 48". The actual measurements come out to 23.5" x 47" and did not fit the 24" x 48" I needed for my application. Some foam panels did not return to form after sitting out for 48 hours nor did they return to form even after soaking in water.

First off product came vacuumed sealed so when opened and placed on walls I got no straight lines product poorly cut and would not unform from shrinkage correctly...waist of money..unusable...wish I could give negative 4 stars

I bought 4 packs of these and they were all the same. They claim these acoustic foam panels are 24 x 48, but they're not. They're around 22 x 45 and not even 2" tall. The only way you can get the advertised size is if you stretch them out (the material is very flexible/spongy), but then you risk tearing them and even then they won't stay that size. I mounted them on some true to size 24 x 48 cardboard with spray adhesive and had a hell of a time getting them to stretch to the full size. At least they were cut decently. I did have to soak some of them in some water to get the foam to expand to it's original shape.Also, the term "soundproof" shouldn't be used to describe these things at all because there's nothing soundproof about them. Acoustic foam is for reducing unwanted reflections in a room and will do absolutely NOTHING to stop sound transfer through walls. The only way to "soundproof" anything is with mass, like drywall or stone.

I actually bought this item to put against my windows to help lower fire work noise for my dogs. It does not drown out all the noise, but helps. I also have a heavy blackout curtain against it also.
