Safety Pins - Black Safety Pins Size #3 - Length 2" (50 Pins/Bag)

Well, I needed big black safety pins for my co-workers who accidentally rip their pants at work. And viola! I found these on Amazon and they do the job very well! It's way better than buying those sewing kit assortment packages that only has a few of the exact size that is needed.

I bought these looking for safety pins that would be invisible for marching band uniform emergencies. They are big enough for the thicker fabric and are blend with the black fabric.

Excellent product but quite pricey for only 50 pins (although it did include shipping). Shipping was SUPER-FAST. The seller is certainly making a nice profit and I suspect they could sell twice as many at the same price and still make a decent profit. I used these for completing 5.56 NATO Bandoliers . . . they're exactly like the original brass pins and are very sturdy.

I got these to wear with a saree and it was really hard to get then through the cloth. It was a thin silk, so they should have slid right through (even if they left a hole due to the thickness), but I gave up and used other safety pins instead. I had hoped the black color would be less visible, but they didn’t work at all.They were all black, and the mechanism worked well. I guess you could use them with something with a very open weave, so the pins don’t have to pierce through.

Though expensive these pins are strong and durable. Depending upon your intended use for them, these could be a good value.

Safety pins are very heavy duty, are sharp and hold well. They do the trick for me. Because they are coated they do not glide but they work once you get them in place.

The item arrived on time and in good condition. The safety pins were of good quality and will come in very handy. They look durable.

These pins are not sharp and are extremely difficult to go through fabric. I liked the colour and the fact that they are heavy but they are unusable. The one time I did manage to force the pin into fabric, the pin undid and left a deep and sore scratch.

Not very sharp. Hard to push into fabric.
