Bully Tools92711 Floral Spade, American Ash Dgrip Handle. Running Change to Fiberglass.

Ordered this nice-sized, sturdy floral spade with D-handle in October of 2016. A great mid-sized shovel to get into tight spaces, and also works great as a camp shovel as it doesn't take up much space. This shovel was used on a nearly daily basis here in Southern California in a yard with heavy soil with a high clay content. This was definitely my wife's favorite shovel and she spends a good part of almost every day working in the yard. In September of 2020, the shovel developed a crack while digging out some plants, and looking back through my Amazon orders I found the product page and noticed it had a limited lifetime warranty. I contacted the company through their website at Bullytools.com and sent them a photo of the broken shovel and a copy of my Amazon receipt. They contacted me the next business day to verify my address and then Fedexed me a replacement free of charge - no questions asked. It's a pleasure doing business with a company like this that stands behind the quality of their products! They've changed the design slightly on the shovel head as you can see by the comparison photos - same gauge steel but more of it!

The first thing I noticed when I got this shovel was how much heavy gauge steel it was made from than I expected. It is sturdy and strong without being too heavy. I guess it is convenient for hanging the shovel on a hook or nail, but I don't particularly like having a hole drilled near theta of the shovel. The wooden handle is strong and the D-handle, though a bit bigger than I would expect, seems like it will last. I think this whole tool will last for a long and useful life. I bought his specially for those small jobs when digging plants out of a garden, small trees from my woods, etc. whenafull size shovel is overkill. I feel it was a good bargain and would recommend it.

Small ladies size but good for planting and trasplsnting

It’s small short size fits great in/on vehicle for camping. The small head makes it great for digging cat holes and it has held up using it to stir campfires. I like the fact that it’s made in the USA and would recommend it.

Nice shovel just remember this is a small shovel spade but is durable made well

slightly disappointed in this tool. not really very effective for much of anything unless you're working in new soil already loosen.have other bully tools that i'm tickled with, but not this one
