Wish I had done this years ago.
Don't know why my 1st review didn't show up but now that I have used them this is actually more relevant. I received them in great shape with no issues at all. I have now made 4 different meals in these and I must say that "meal Prep" is nothing new ( I have always planned on left overs) but these little containers really make left overs a thing of the past. I make several different things all in one day(usually at the same time) and set them all in my freezer. I am careful to let them sit on the counter for several minutes prior to sending them into the microwave. I have had no issues with them at all and these little trays have changed my life.I have instant lunch and dinner ready without trying to think about what to make tonight. I just grab, warm, and eat. This saves me a ton of time and cuts way down on the frustration of a nightly chore or the mistake of fast food. There are plenty of recipes on Youtube making this change a no brainer. It really does make life much easier and cuts the stress down. I cook when I have free time and I make it fun time instead of a rushed moment. As for the product itself: They are not real tough but certainly tough enough to last for the year;with intelligent care. The major complaints I have seen have been that they are hard to open. My wife has some trouble but I have not had one time yet that there was any trouble. Just hold your left foot up and gently slide your fingers under the edge of 2 corners at the same time and you're on your way, With the cost at around $20 you cannot go wrong. Get a set and get on Youtube and find out how easy this is and just how FREAKING much time it saves.

A review covering everything you need to know
I bought 2 of these sets. Each set came with an extra container (Thank you!). I have used the containers for about 2 months now, through the freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. They hold up very well in all of these situations, and have not been damaged at all because of them. I did drop one once from counter height while it had a good amount of food in it and it did crack. They are certainly not indestructible, but they will hold up to normal use. If you do something dumb like I did, you might break them, just like you would a glass dish. They are definitely more durable than glass though. I did not worry about the broken container because it broke outside of normal use and Fitpacker included an extra container in each pack. So, in summary, these containers are satisfyingly durable. They are waterproof. I can store soups in them and turn them on their side and get no leaking. This is not surprising because the seal is VERY firm. I have found the best way to open them is to start in the middle of the longer side, get your finger under, and slide it around to pop the lid off. This is not something I would like to do for hours as it would probably hurt my fingers, but once a meal is fine with me. If you have very sensitive fingers, you might not enjoy this feature, but I think it is ultimately worth it.In summary, they hold food very securelyThe size of the containers seems fine for a normal meal. If you eat a whole lot, you might want to supplement with maybe fruit (that you can store outside of the container), or other containers to carry more food. This will hold a normal sized meal fine though. They stack veryyyy well, when stacked you can carry probably 10 of them with one hand without any big problems. They take up only as much space as they need to, and they are very secure when stacked. In summary, the container shape and size is very well thought out.Lastly, I think these particular containers are offered at a better price per container than other sellers.

it is easy to close effectively and the seal is fantastic
I find these boxes a little big for my meals but being a smaller woman, that may just be because my TDEE is low relative to others who mealprep. The tops are REALLY hard to get off. I have to yank one of the locking points up and then just force the rest of the top open; trying to lift the top around from one point failed since the opposite side kept resealing itself (kind of how a new tire is nearly impossible to get off and on a roadbike). THAT BEING SAID, it is easy to close effectively and the seal is fantastic. Assuming you're not putting soup in here it does a great job of holding everything in. I pack salad dressing in its own container so I can't judge that application. Just don't pack it sideways :)The listing says that it is microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe. I have not tested it in a freezer, but it seems sturdy enough for it. I have microwaved food it in and it did not deform or transfer the heat too much (the food was hot, the container was warm-ish); I am still a little nervous about microwaving in plastic so I have only done so twice for testing purposes (for the hubby who is less neurotic than I am). We accidentally put a few of them through a cycle on the bottom level of the dishwasher (hubby loaded it and they actually won't fit in the top shelf of our dishwasher). One of them was a little wibbly after the fact but still completely usable, you only when they are stacked in the cupboard. Because of the dishwasher space issue (we have a third row dishwasher) we wash these by hand and they are easy to wash with an Ikea dish washing brush; **scrub scrub scrub** **rinse rinse** **place in drying rack**They stack in the refrigerator in a satisfying way (the tops keep them from sliding out of stacks), and they are easy to grab on the run for handy meals.
