Amazing Plants
Received these several days earlier than expected plus they are already growing and showing color. Awesome plants.

Easy to grow
Very happy with this iris. Look at the photo, this is how much it grew in two weeks after I planted it. It has a very healthy, large rhizome. It looked dried out, but this is normal. I am certain that it will bloom in the spring.

Rotten rhizom
I ordered this rhizome on November 18, 2023 along with Eggnog rhizome. This species arrived rotten.I didn't have a chance to return it on time and planted it anyway, hoping that at list part of it will producesome roots in spring time. Well, it ended up with rhizome being rotted completely. I was very disappointed. Need to mention, that the Eggnog rhizome survived and giving several shoots now.

Beautiful, healthy, but color is not as pictured
I planted several weeks after receiving. I'm in lower Michigan and they unexpectedly bloomed in late October! These pics were taken this morning, Oct 28, 2023!! This is after planting them in May!! Nice Fall surprise! The only disappointing thing is the while the color of this iris photographs a beautiful reddish-purple-orange, the color is actually more a burgundy brown as mentioned in a previous buyer review. The colors are similar to Central Michigan University colors - not the color I wanted, nor expected. Healthy and beautiful yes, but color not as pictured. In the pics I took, the closest to the actual color is in the third shot, looking down at it.I understand monitor's show slightly different colors, but I purchase many items online that look exactly as pictured - so the color wouldn't be this far off, in my opinion. My advice: look at many pics of this iris on the internet and read reviews to ensure you know what color you are actually buying so you aren't disappointed in the actual color, as these are not inexpensive. Having said this, I would buy again from this seller, but would look at more pics to make more certain of the color I would actually be getting.

Very fresh and well packaged
When I opened the package I was very pleased with the fresh roots. I got them planted right away and they are doing well. I would definitely buy again from this seller. Whoever packages does an excellent job.

Ordering directly from Easy-to-Grow vs. from here (Amazon) (NOT THE SAME QUALITY)
I've gotten rhizomes from this company several times, purchasing DIRECTLY from THEIR website, not via Amazon. The prices via Amazon were a bit lower, the selection was narrower, but I thought I'd give it a try (because it's dang easy to shop via Amazon). These (and one other variety I ordered) arrived quickly, in decent bubble packaging, but there is no comparison to what you get if you order from them directly and pay a bit more (not a LOT more, a bit more). These three rhizomes were in very small paper bag and look very, VERY dry, some with nearly non-existent roots. The ones I've gotten FROM THEM DIRECTLY are a 180° experience; each rhizome with green in their recently-trimmed leaves, carefully taped into place in containers (with a bit of loose potting mix).I planted these dried out buggers today and I am hoping for the best ! :-)
