Crappie Magnet Trout Magnet Bundle

We fish smaller rivers and streams, mostly with spinner baits. This is a nice, shallow diving bait that didn't shoot to the bottom and get hung up. Solid addition to the tackle box.

I caught some largemouth bass and a few crappie the day it was delivered. It was a good alternative when the bigger lures were not attracting fish.

I used the lure for a bit but didnt catch anything. Unfortunately i had a wind know when using this and while trying to fix that the lure was snagged. One thing i could not get it to dive more than a foot. This was at a creek awy with a gentle current using 6lb Floro leader with 10lb Braid. I ordered another one lets see how that works. I can tell its a budget lure and its budget friendly.

We caught some brown trout on this lure. The lure has great motion, its fairly light though and I thought it was somewhat hard to cast compared to a spinner. The lure suspends and points into the current very nicely.

After being out of fishing for 40 years and wanting to get back, rules are different in Maryland vs Colorado. Colorado allows anything at anytime so I only used natural so an artificial will surely be interesting for me.

Good lure for streams.

I like the crank baits from Trout Magnet. I think I have every version they sell. They are a great value for what you get just like the other Trout Magnet stuff. The colors are a little off from their pictures for the brown trout but look great otherwise.

The lure is filling up with water unfortunately. Had great action and caught me a couple of small bass which felt great. Once I got home I found the tail had filled up as per the picture. I sent Leland Lure's an email but I haven't heard back in over a week. Perhaps they can contact me through here and hopefully make it right!
