Works great to mount a transom mount trolling motor
I had one years ago then bought a new one for my 14’ boat, it’s plenty strong and works great.

easy to install
I'd buy another at 59 $. A bit high for what it's made of. But, now way higher.

decent mount
the mount is good but i gave it only 3 stars. the is because the wood on it should have 4 bolts instead of 2. the would had to much play in it and comes loose with motor running, thats with 2 bolts. if you ad 2 more bolts it stays very secure. overall it is a good bracket, after you ad bolts to makes stronger.

Very nice.
Bought for my father in law. We were both very happy with it. Makes his jon boat look a whole lot cleaner than just clamping it around the gunnel of the boat. He mounted it to the front seat of his boat.

Not as advertised.
Considering the price, not very impressed with the quality...not as advertised and not marine grade. Not stainless steel, but powder coated aluminum. The 2 carriage bolts holding it together aren't stainless either. The wooden block is plywood and not finished...very rough and porous. But I'm stuck. I'll hafta replace the bolts and put a lotta spar varnish on the wood.

Low quality and flimsy to mount a trolling motor
Very disappointed with this mount. Its the epidemy of low quality Chinese made products.

Good option for adding a trolling motor to a fishing kayak.
Good mount, the wood has gotten a little loose on it after about 5-6 uses so may just need to tighten the bolts. Other than that, it's serving it's purpose which was to be able to put a trolling motor on my Ascend FS128T kayak.
