Can I add gas when the gas finished? Is it refillable?

How many times it's been said on many forums that 1 lb green tanks CAN be refilled from 20lb tanks. You need this adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008BXJBRG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Instructions are everywhere. Put small tank in a freezer for a few hours, turn 20 lb tank upside down, connect a small tank, wait until it stops hissing - done. Don't freeze it again to try and put more propane in there - you don't want to overfill it. Properly filled green tank should weigh 1 lb and 2 or 3 oz.

Does this item ship with the propane tank?

No tank included; you can purchase them in just about any Hardware for about $4 to $5 and that last a long time. Make sure you buy the short and large diameter ones to fix the holder. Good for power outages if you have an electric range, plus, they have a light adaptor that fits the tank. George

Is this small enough to use with an Italian coffee maker?

There are four rows of holes that emit the flame. It is just like any gas stove. The diameter of the inner row is approximately two and three quarter inches across, the diameter of the outer row of holes are approximately three and one sixteenth of an inch across.
