Love it!
if you take your time to really clean your windows, measure them properly, and use LOTS of soapy water you should have a really good result. The soapy water helps the film slide into position without sticking until you use the squeegee to get it all out. I purchased a film installation kit too so everything was ready right next to me. The challenging part was keeping the film flat enough to peel off the protective layer. I need my boys to help with that part. My tip would be to peel little by little and spray as you go so that the film doesn't fold into itself and stick. Once the soapy water is on the film and on the window and its pretty easy from there. Im happy with the result.Update: I moved out 2 years after this post and peeling it off was very easy. No residue on the window at all. It peeled right off like a screen protector off of a phone. I will re purchase for my new windows.

Drastically improves room temperature!
We have a large home with older single pane windows. Even with a brand new AC system, the house gets warm. We have double sliders in our family room and it gets pretty hot during the day. We tried this on the sliders first. Because they were a large surface, it took my husband and I both to apply it. It took approximately one hour to do all 4 sliding doors. It has a nice mirror finish during the day and the room was noticeably cooler. It also removed the glare on the TV. In my picture, you can see one side of the door with the tint and the other with nothing. Big difference! It darkens the room similar to putting on a pair of sunglasses. We just ordered several more rolls to add now that we are confident that it will make a difference.

Dont forget to Cut, spray the window, remove the clear film backing before applying.
The first picture has one window done. The second has the top three but not the bottom three so you can see the diffrence. About 10 min start to finish per window for installation. I suggest lightly spraying (misting) the window before applying, buying a rubber edged smoothing tool to smoothe out any bubbles/excess water and using a metal rugar and box knife to cut away the edges. VERY happy with this product and it only has a very light mirrored finish on the outside so it looks very nice as well. Great transparency, can still see very well outside.

Great product, great value
There is a little learning curve but I bought a tint kit with squeegee and exacto knife and bottle of soapy water. After first half of first window I felt pretty confident. I left room on all sides and just used the exacto knife to precision cut while on the window. Picture from outside shows the difference far right window does not have the tint installed

Effective heat control & easy to install
My second floor master bedroom has an addition with nine floor to ceiling windows. I use this room as a home office but in the summer it feels like a mini greenhouse with all the windows and the sun blazing in. This film really helped to control the heat & it was pretty easy to install. My windows were not exactly the same width as the film. I've got some tips I figured out along the way:I gathered up some tools - a metal ruler, a razor knife, and a silicone shower squeegee thing. Once the film is cut roughly the right size (I left about a quarter inch extra), Use soapy water in a spray bottle and spray both the glass and the film. I used dish soap. Once its evenly misted lay on the film starting at a top corner. Line up the top edge and one of the side edges and then spray a bit of soapy water on the back. The soapy water helps the squeegee slide easier and I ended up pretty much zero bubbles after I figured this out. Once it smoothed out you can use the ruler and the razor knife to trim the other side edge and the bottom edge straight.

Product is effective!
Two people required for applying to bigger windows. The lights inside my apartment were on and you could still only see the glow of them and nothing else, even with my bed being about 2-3 feet in front of the window. The lights are on the left side of the room, opposite my bed. Camera didn’t capture that glow but it was there. Even with a LOT of air bubbles, some gaps and wrinkles, the mirrored effect still works great and peels off easily. Great product!

Should have done this a long time ago!
We live in Arizona. Arizona is just HOT. No doubt about that. We recently purchased a house that was built in 1991. The windows in the house are not way in any form energy efficient. In fact, the windows I put this tint on, the blinds warped and sag/melted due to the heat coming in. The bedroom would be so hot, it was a noticeable difference. Our fan would be on high at all times, not to mention the AC.I also installed this over a bay window in my office. The sun would come in on the mornings I worked and would cook the top of my head. So much I would have to shift positions cause it would almost feel like a sun burn was about to happen. I probably sit 10' from that window. I no longer have this issue. The sun light comes in, but I feel absolutely not heat. This stuff is amazing if you have older windows. Trust me!I installed these on the windows in our bedroom that face west. Granted it's only April, and temps just about 95.. I was extremely happy to find out just doing this to the three windows COMPLETLEY REDUCED the temperature it wasn't even funny. I could literally be 6 feet from the window WITH THE BLINDS CLOSED and feel the heat. Now, with this window tint installed, I can stand right next to the window.. and not feel a slight increase whatso ever! I was so amazed. I am buying more to complete the other bedrooms. The pictures I've included in this review were taking seconds apart late in the afternoon. 20 degree difference 2 feet away from the window. Left is window closed and right window a bit open. Went from 71 to 91 in matter of a minute. I AM SOLD!Install, I'd watched a few videos of it being applied. I've tinted windows in cars before, so I was somewhat experienced. This stuff is much thicker than that of automobile window tint. It does not crease, or damage as easy as the thin stuff. I used soapy dawn water and it worked great. I tried to cut the film on a work bench to the size of the window before to make installation easier.

Its ok
The item is easy to use on glass. I have used all of my window and it looks it block the sun. But when I stand near the window I can still feel the heat is coming through the glass which makes the room hot. So may be it works 10 to 20% and that it.

Good
Very good product. I only wish if they can send holders or something to hold film while installing .it's bit tough with bare hand to hold on edges whiles finishing install

Disappointing
More plastic sheet than an actual film... I needed it to match other mirror films I already got and it's totally different quality. Very poor mirror effect as well.
