Not as fresh as usual but this chocolate is the best

I recently moved and can’t find Taza chocolate nearby. I went on Amazon as a whim and found exactly what I wanted at a great price. I live in Florida now so I was worried what kind of condition the chocolate would be in. I was flabbergasted when my chocolate showed up a week early and packed in ice packs. Delicious!!!

Strangely, the discs in this pack are neither stone-ground nor coffee-flavored. (I’m familiar with their discs—especially this particular line.) I felt as if I’d bitten into a completely different brand of chocolate.

Product came damaged and missing one disc. Chocolate seems like it’s been in storage for a long time.

I am a regular subscriber to this wonderful chocolate, My package was damaged because of the excessive heat in my area. I contacted customer service and they promptly resolved the issue. Love this company!

The Taza Chocolate Mexicano Disc are excellent overall. The flavors are subtle and I've tried a number of them. As a coffee lover, I enjoy the coffee flavored disc. I ordered a box of this chocolate and the seller (Peters Direct) boxed it perfectly to ensure there was no damage to the product during shipping. I will be buying from Peters Direct again.

Shipping the item with the freezer packs was nice, but these Taza Chocolate Mexican discs generally do not melt as most other chocolates do. It wasn't necessary to take extra steps, including the ice packs. Thank you

My husband is addicted to Taza chocolates...this flavor is his absolute favorite as he also LOVES dark roast coffee (made using a french press). The obsession began when I decided to purchase some tickets to go on a tour of the Taza Chocolate factory for his 40th birthday present. He has not stopped talking about it since we went that day! The company where these delicious chocolates are made and distributed is located in MA. It's amazing what you'll learn about how REAL CHOCOLATE is made...without any nasty pesticides and additives, of which there are NONE in any of their chocolates. On the tour of the factory, you get to see, touch, smell and taste every part of the chocolate-making process. The owner of the company has an amazing story of how he got started. You even get to see all the types of special, hand-made grinding stones used in processing the chocolate. The tour is not very long but it's very intriguing AND as a bonus, you get to sample lots of chocolate - the flavors are never-ending.....and did I mention that there's NO NASTY INGREDIENTS in them? Can you now understand why my husband is so obsessed with these chocolates?? If you've never tried them, you really must! This is not your European-type of chocolate bar - its stoneground, so not creamy at all in texture - in my opinion. However....still really good! And if you're near Boston, it's really worth it to take the factory tour. I don't work for them but I'm sold on the chocolates, the integrity of the company and .....it's my husband's favorite! :-)
