Tablecraft 700008 Cutting Board, 6" x 8" x .5", Bamboo

This is exactly what I was looking for. A small, lightweight cutting board that I could add to my portable mini bar. Nice quality, perfect price. This will make it easy to cut lemons & limes, cheese, pepperoni, and more.

I use this small cutting board daily for tasks as varied as cutting vegetables, bread, or fruits*. It’s lightweight, and easy to pick up by the handle hole. I did sand the inside of the handle hole when I first got it so it would be absolutely smooth.It’s easy to care for, with just a rinse or light washing. As it’s wood I make sure to dry it thoroughly so it won’t rot, crack, or warp. I’ve had it nearly a year now and it still looks new, so I think it will last a long time.Highly recommended.*I don’t cut meats on this board, as it’s wood and therefore porous. I recommend using a plastic board for meats.

When my other cutting boards that are larger wear out, I will be buying another one of these in a larger size. I use the smaller size quite a bit for cutting small amounts of things. Very easy to clean. Easy to cut on. Dries quickly. Does not seem to hold odor or any flavors on it. This is different than the plastic boards that I have for vegetables or sometimes I will get leftover flavors like garlic. Worth the money. Again very easy cleanup. Very nice appearance.

Bamboo wood is the only reason I purchased this,the model is not to creative

I bought this to replace a similar bamboo cutting board. It is exactly as advertised. Some people complain about it being unfinished, but I haven't noticed any rough edges or splinters.

I read a review that complained about the lack of finish on this board, which was true; but then, it was very inexpensive. So when I confirmed this, I just sanded the board myself and have found it extremely useful for my needs and definitely worth the price.

Both short edges are unfinished. Rough to the touch.

I use it all the time due to its' perfect size. Cleans up very easily with a sponge. Very resistant to stains.
