I really like this mat. I know it must have some effect because my office generates a lot of static and this mat gives me a mini shock when I tough it. I also notice that my wired headphones used to make popping noticed and when I ground myself to the mat that is no longer an issue. I can't speak to the health benefits because I simply don't notice anything huge. I did test the mat with a multimeter and I was satisfied with the results but since there is impedance built into the mat I placed more value on my experiences with the mat rather than the multimeter values. However, I have also been on a crusade to eat completely clean and it has greatly reduced my inflammation. I will say I am able to stand at my desk for far longer than I used to be able to . My feet hurt less. My ears don't have tat muffled need-to-pop feeling and I have fewer eye strain headaches.

Used this on my computer desktop under keyboard. Its keeping me from breaking keyboards and mice with static shocks. Just have to be sure to touch the pad before the keyboard or mouse. One negative is my KONE optical mouse does not work on this surface and required a separate pad.

It's incredibly easy to use and I easily feel it does do its job. The provided ground cable is long enough.

I have a tester with to pointy prongs. I have to push hard into the top of the mat to show that it’s grounded. My arm will not penetrate deep enough to actually be grounded. I do not recommend this product.

This was my first dip into "grounding" so I decided to start with a small mat to see how this all works. I used it as a mouse pad for a day, but that night I put it under the sheets at the foot of my bed, took my socks off, and slept with my feet touching the mat as much as possible all night.Not sure it it was placebo or not but every night I slept, the dreams were very vivid but not tiring and the sleep was deeper than I can ever remember. It's been two solid weeks of use and each night it was the same deep sleep with vivid dreams except for last Friday. My wife asked how I slept and I said, "well not near as well as I have been, don't remember any dreams and didn't feel rested", I let it go at that and before bed that night I looked around the base of the stand where I keep the mat plugged in and saw that the cord was unplugged and that my wife had plugged in the sound machine instead. I asked her when she did that and she said sometime before bed on Friday!So, still not sure if it's placebo but I'm more inclined to believe it does do something because I certainly noticed and commented, only to find out the night I didn't sleep well was the night it wasn't plugged in.For those of you who are curious, the cord shows the recommended resistance of ~100k Ohms (98.3k Ohms to be exact, is what I measured). Another nice thing about this mat is that it doesn't smell. I recently ordered a larger mat from another company and had to return it because whatever they used to manufacture it smelled so bad (like glue / chemicals mixed) it made my eyes water. This was perfect, no smell. Hope this helps.

It is a good earthing mat that I use while I am working. Also, I use it on days rainy days when I cannot go out. It if durable as well.
