Petromalt Sentry Malt Flavored Hairball Relief

When I first got this, I tried putting the malt onto my finger but it’s very viscous and stuck to my finger when my cat tried to lick it off. Ended up trying giving it to her straight from the tube and that worked perfectly! I’ll squeeze out about a half inch and hold it to her. She LOVES it. She’s always trying to get more. I give it to her twice a week and it’s been great. Highly recommend!

My older cat has a tremendous problem with vomiting. If I give this to him daily or at least several times a week, it reduces the episodes. His fur is very thick and he is always grooming himself (OCD). Our younger cat wouldn't touch it at first and really does not seem to need it. But he has watched his brother and now wants a little taste too. Figure it is good to get him use to it JIC. Once opened I keep in fridge so it doesn't come out all liquid. I squeeze a line on my finger and kitty licks it off. Definitely a household staple now.

About one week ago Oliver choked up two hairballs. This is highly unusual for him. He also behaved as if he did not feel well, refusing to eat or drink, following me around the house, talking and chatting quietly. He even refused a can of sardines I offered. A Sentry product had been used randomly, but was not helping now, even with daily use. I ordered this Malt Flavored product, which we had used in the distant past. The first day I spread one inch on his front paw and locked him in the bathroom so he couldn't shake it all over the house. He carefully cleaned his paw. The second day I did it again and he did it again. On the second day he began to eat his cat food, drink water, and ignore me again. We are back to normal.

This product is a big hit with all my cats and helps them feel better also, from preventing hairballs or helping them to pass, to relieving discomfort after coughing or vomiting. They all really like the malt flavor the best.

My cat absolutely loves Petromalt! She eats it directly from the tube, and it does a great job in reducing her hairballs.

The first product my cats will actually lick right from the tube. One of my cats loves this flavor (salmon) so much I have to hide the tube so she won’t try to bite into it.
