About the Author Rodgers Semyalo was born in 1985 in Uganda at a time when the country was torn by years of war and grave political uncertainty. He attended St Andrew and St Peter Catholic schools for his Ordinary and A levels respectively and was admitted to Kyambogo University for a Bachelor of arts with Education degree. He studied English language and Literature, briefly worked as the editor in chief for Kyambogo Times Newsletter and thereafter served in the same office for Makela Africa Magazine. He taught in different schools in Uganda and has traveled extensively through Africa and beyond. He loves photography, music and traveling. Read more
